I was just sitting here and started to wonder if anyone has the ultima skill. Anybody?

I got a pm from him a few weeks ago, he said he lost his game when he got his new computer or something like that. Anyways, he said he probably won't be back, at least for a while.

I have had it off and on at times.

I used to have it, but it wasn't giving XP for ultima kills, and so got rid of it.

Then Druid fixed it, but I had already redistributed my points.

I actually liked it quite a bit. It's very satisfying to get revenge on a bunch of monsters who just killed you. It also makes death less troublesome.

I also suspect that it encourages you to be a bit more engaged in close combat--in a cluster of monsters--because there's an incentive to die next to a large horde of them, if you're going to die at all. I developed this feeling of a wasted death if I died far away from anything. You can get quite a bit of points if there's a large bunch of them nearby when you die.

I think I might get it again.

I have been planning on getting it but it will take a long time before I can get enough stat points to even have it available.

It is a pretty cool skill. I remember when Chankie was playing more, he would purposly run himself into a large group of monsters and kill himself. Let me just say that Chankie wrote the definition of "going out with a bang"!!

I think it is basically the same, but I'm not totally sure about that.
