I would love to have one of these, but alas, I would need almost $10K for it

p.s. still just trying to keep you all entertained with something

I'll take one of these, too for mountain biking. I still need almost $4K for this one, though.

While we're on the subject....

I'll take a new alien ware system for all my computing needs.

Oh, and a house too. (actually, around christmas is when we should be able to start seriously planning the layout of the modular we want to have built )

I'm sure you probably know what you are doing and all, but be careful with those modulars. I've seen what happens when you have a poor quality one.

yah, i'm with you on that one! What we're planning on is the up grade version, all true 2x4 construct walls, 2x10, 12 roof and floor joices, sheet rock not panneling walls, stone tile instead of linolium, etc... The model we found that we like the floor plan is originally for a 2x wide, but is available as a mod, so the price will about double (up to around 90 k is our estemate, includes all appliances deck and maybe, just maybe if I'm a good boy a 20x25 garage for me >< )

I like both of those bikes you two! That is something else I want to get when I/if have the money. Most of the people in my family would frown on that, but hey, it's fun!

Psh....you people........ If you're going to get a freaking bike, get one worth getting!!! I'm sorry. I'm a cruiser fan. I have ridden a sport bike before and they just aren't as comfortable as the cruisers. My butt just doesn't stay in the same place. In fact, I don't think my butt even fit on the seat properly. Heh....

Here!
http://bmwmotorcycles.com/machine/models/model.jsp?model=r1200c_classic

BMW had an R1200 C Montana out. It basically looks like the above link, there are a few minor changes. Both seats are bigger and the passenger seat flipped up to make a backrest for the rider. That's what I wanted forever....until they discontinued it last year.

Since they decided to do that, I'll have to go with Honda's Shadow VLX Deluxe. Either 2004 or 2006. Probably 2006.

http://powersports.honda.com/motorcycles/cruiser_standard/model.asp?ModelName=Shadow+VLX+Deluxe&ModelYear=2006&ModelId=VT600CD6

The '06 candy dark red would even match my helmet! Oooo! It's only 583 cc's, which might not be a bad first bike. And it's only $5700....That's not too bad.

Now see what you've made me do?!?!

Wow, that was great. I giggled right out loud. It wasn't painful or anything. The guy I was riding with was just showing off his new bike and we only went around the block, but everytime he stopped I would slide into him.

All motorcycles are fun. I just want a cruiser for myself.

That BMW is radical looking! I've never seen one of those before. So, you like the cruising bikes, huh? I've never been on one, so I don't have an opinion on them.

That BMW is kinda cool looking, though.

Yup, definitely into cruisers. They're just....*whew* so cool! The only reason I am into BMW's is my dad. He's got a touring bike. The K1200 LT: (not in this color)

That thing has everything! Tape deck, heated seats, reverse, CD player! My parents are members of the Salt Lake Motorcycle Club and have this ongoing "war" with the other members. Especially the ones with the Harleys, who tease him about whether or not his bike is running because it's so quiet.

Dad has told me I should find a small bike to learn to drive. My uncle has a '71 Honda 750 that I tried to fix up last year. There was gas left in the tank (30 years and it gets nasty), I had to rebuild the carbs, clean out the dried gas from all the hoses, buy a new battery....the throttle still sticks and I got tired of putting so much money into it. I just want to snatch a used one and learn on that.

You know you can go to Kiddie Mart (Walmart) and get a bike for under $200 and it will function the same.

What I would like for X-mas is:
