Here are the rules about posting your skin: Adhere to them or your post will be deleted as soon as I see it.

1. If you post a skin, it MUST adhere to the rules of this server. If it does not, plan on being banned, and do not trouble us further.

2. Post your skin individually. Do not further respond to a post about skins with your skin. Make a post for your skin, and if it changes, edit your post.

3. Do NOT post a model/skin if your just going to change it again within a couple days/hours! I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. Try different models first, THEN post the one you have decided to stick with. If you're the type of person that changes their model all the time, then do us all a favour and don't bother posting in this thread for any reason. Not only do I not want models on my HDD that don't go to use, not everyone who plays on the server has a broad band connection.

4. Only post the model YOU are going to use. Do NOT post a bunch of models other people might like to use. My$tic and caleab I'm looking directly at you two.

5. Do NOT break the h-scroll. Meaning do not post pictures so big that people will have to scroll left or right. Breaking the h-scroll is not proper internet forum etiquette.

6. Learn how to use bbcode. Most forums on the internet support something called "BB Code" (bulletin board code) . bbcode, as well as HTML, allows you to make your text bold, italicized, and Linky. When you use this bbcode, you can allow people to acually click on your links instead of making them all copy and paste in to a new window. Once again, this is proper internet forum etiquette.

7. Realize that for the vast majority of us (including me) that you will show up as Jacob. <rant>I prefer frame rates to specialized skins</rant>

8. Since people started downloading custom skins en-masse, I've heard about a lot more people GPFing in the game. For pete sake, test your skin for a while before you post it, and realize downloading skins is at your own risk.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

As a reminder, when you post skins, or anything else, on our forums, they are still subject to the rules of our server agreement, http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dc/playeragreement.jsp

DO NOT put any skins that are inappropriate or offensive on our forums, or they WILL be removed, and we will consider banning you and closing your forum account.

DO NOT post skin packs or lists of skins unless you have personally looked at every skin in the pack and you are certain it is appropriate for our server.

If you have any questions about whether or not your skin is appropriate, PLEASE ASK before posting by emailing administrators(at)disastrousconsequences.com (replace the (at) with @).

Thanks
