Hello.
Just wondering how the random weapons work?
Let me try to explain.
When you pick up a gun you have a 33% chance of it being magical and a soon as you pick it up, there's a 100% chance that the weapon you picked (magical or not) will remain with the same status/bonus/penalty for the remainder of the... (insert here invasion wave/stage/player life?)

The same rule applies to the players with the "Loaded Weapons" skill, they receive or might not receive some special weapons, but in most cases many of us discard the weapons we don't need or won't use for map reason/size, situation, etc.

Here's an example, I start with a shock rifle of protection +2, but I discard it in favor of my other guns, if I pass over the shock rifle spawn point I'll get another shock rifle of protection +2 and another and another more no matter how many times I do it.

Does this changes at all with each wave or the only way is to actually die and spawn again with new guns on the next wave?

There are a few important things to note about the "randomness" of the weapons.

The first is, if you get a weapon that does not have a * next to its name (such as protection, energy, etc.), if you toss it and pick up another from the spawn point, you will receive the same weapon.

This does not prevent you from receiving another of a different type of weapon from someone else. For example, let's say I have a Flak Cannon of Energy +1, but Jenny has a Flak Cannon of Protection +2, and I like that more. I can toss my energy one, and she can toss me her protection one. If I decide to toss that one, when I run over the spawn point again, I will first receive my original gun (the energy), then I can toss it, run over the spawn point again, and receive the next gun I picked up (Jenny's protection one).

The above rules apply until you are out (i.e. you die after using your Ghost, if you have it). If you live through 2, 5, or all 16 waves, you will still have the same gun until you die.

However, if your gun has a * (e.g., vampiric, vorpal. etc.), when you toss it and run over the spawn point, you will receive a new random weapon. NOTE: If you have Loaded Weapons levels 4 or 5, the automatic magical/positive magical modifier ONLY applies to your first weapon. So if you toss your Null Entropy Shock +3 to see if you can get a Vorpal, you may just get a plain, ordinary shock rifle.

Let me know if that all makes sense.

I'm wondering what it will take for my country to rise,

*scritches his head*

Yeah it does some sense.
You know, in an algebraic-calculus-grammathic sense

Just kidding, its a little tricky, but yeah, so I can actually switch a gun for a better one as long as someone loans me one of theirs fora moment and I return it back , then head to the weapon spawn point get my 1st gun again, toss it and get another more to receive the 2nd gun which I like more.

Sounds fair, much better than having to die to change guns (or trusting my luck on a magic weapon maker for that matter)
