Wow, that's a good question. I have so many.

First; my family and friends for always being there for me and putting up with my antics.

My great grandma; she was so active right up until she passed. She was 90 and still walked to the store. She was awesome. She got up one morning when we were visiting in CO and came out and said she had slept like she was paid to. It was just funny. She always said she was going to go in her sleep and she did, bless her.

John Lennon just because he was cool. He was part of the Beatles, he wrote Imagine....he lost a few points with Yoko Ono, but still.

Lastly, BATMAN! How could you not love the guy!? He's rich and he saves the helpless losers in Gotham!!

Definately a great question! For my hero it goes in the family as well... I respect and look up to my older brother because of his influence and commitments he's made. He is currently in his last year at the Naval Academy and I greatly respect the sacrifices he's making. He's likely to go marines ground so I admire his bravery. But I appreciate all of our armed forces who are defending our freedoms. Anyone who serves is a hero in my view.

Well this one will get a lot of feedback.

My heroes are Tiger Woods (whom I have met w00t!) and Jackie Chan.

Tiger is the greatest golfer I have ever seen in my entire life and one day I hope to be at least half as good as he is. He plays for the love of the game and you can see how much he enjoys playing when the camera has a close up on the expression on his face. Always so happy, unless he has a bad shot.

Jackie Chan is a karate master. I myself am a black belt, but Jackie would whoop my butt and all 4 of the ninja turtles all at once! lol. He is the greatest action movie star (or at least was) because he does his OWN stunts. All of them, and if you've ever seen the Jackie Chan special on TV about how he comes up with his different stunts and how they are done, you would be amazed.

My heroes. Oh yeah, and Michelangelo the ninja turtle. lol

Donatello beats Michelangelo anyday. Don can repair stuff! All Mike can do is cook odd pizzas.

Mmmm... pizza....

Anyway, I don't have any heroes really. For a hero, I guess I'd say Bob the Tomato, for having put up with Larry the Cucumber for so so long, and entertaining kids. My hat's off to you Bob.

(I really don't have any heroes. )

I have to say mine is my late father. I can't really explain it, but I have tried to emulate his attitude towards life and can only hope to be as successful and patient with everything as he was.

Ok, Leonardo is so much better than both of them! He's the leader of the group with the coolest weapon!

And haha to the Veggietales. I've got a good friend who loves those guys and has made me watch their videos...while she sits there singing to them. The little French peas kill me everytime!

This is a great thread, Akie! I'm really enjoying reading the answers.

Hmm...hero talk, eh?

Got a few. Al Einstein would probably be tops. A genius with a great personality, incredible mind, and awesome hair-do. Yeah, he gets my vote. In truth I'm just fascinated by his work so..blah diddy blah blah blah.

Next we're gonna go with Arthur Guinness...if you dont already know why, feel free to do your homework, I'm gonna go get a drink.

And finally, I'd say my pops. While not perfect, he was still an incredible man.

So yeah, next...?

Stephen: Stephen is my name. I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.
Hamish: "Your island"? You mean Ireland?
Stephen: Yeah. It's mine.
Hamish: You're a madman.
Stephen: I've come to the right place then!

I would have to say my Grandfather. The man is 68 years old and still working harder than most people I know. It is true that your only as old as you feel because he could keep up with most 20 year olds. He has been driving truck for 47 years and still going. He raised me from the time I was 11. He has taught me alot and he always has the best stories. I very great man.
