But i mean i got other favs like the little mermaid and im big on the scary flicks like the amityville horror omg that freaked me out oh and i like gone with the wind what a classic just like cassablanca if your into that kinda thing. i was big on the movie lawnmower man it was great. trust me when it comes to movies i have a full list, my mom made sure we had all the recent movies as a kid and we had over 400 vidos it was great. I went and saw that new movie Sin City now thats a great film for sure if u can keep track of the whole story line without getting all mixed up lol other than that i guess i dunno patch adams was great and i really liked jurassic park just the original one the rest suck and how could i forget the never ending story one of the best movies i ever saw as a kid well along with princess bride and legend both great! ne way could go on forever so see u all in game

Princess Bride is definately classic. I saw Sin City, great movie very unique way of making a movie. didnt realize it was gonna get goofier than black and white and color but it really was well done and very original. Great story and great acting. Cant believe they made Mickey Rourke look like Ron Pearlman.
Oh and Ess Trainspotting did make it to the U.S. and has a pretty big fan base, same with Go and Lock Stock, and my personal favorite Snatch. I saw an English film called The Hole last nite. Movies from across the pond have a very distinct style.

The Hole didn't make an impression here at all - pretty much hit the cinemas for two weeks and then vanished into oblivion. The problem I can see with people watching Trainspotting now is that they'll probably go "Ooooh! It's Obi-Wan Kenobi!"

OK, if you're liking the new wave of gritty 'Brit film' look, try some of these:

Layer Cake
28 Days Later
Shaun of the Dead
The Bunker
Nil By Mouth
Velvet Goldmine
24hr Party People
Shallow Grave
Touching The Void
Trauma

28 days later is one of my all time favorite horror/drama movies. Great score, great visuals(London abandoned was really a powerful scene especially with the score crescendos)and some terrific acting. Shaun of the dead was very entertaining, and I know I've seen 24hr. party people just cant remember it. As for the others I will check em out. Thanx. Forgot Ian McKlellan was in trainspotting, I saw another movie with him where he was a broker in Indonesia cheating the books. Think it was a true story, one of those movies where you keep waiting for the train to run off the tracks.

Ah, good old Return of the Living Dead!

I'm quite the horror fan too. I seem to appreciate the older works of Fulci and Argento than the modern day 'teen' flicks. Films such as Zombie, Suspiria and Maniac are right up there with my favs.

Wilst on this subject, have you seen the trailer for the fourth zombie film from Romero, Land of the Dead? I don't know about you, but I haven't been this excited about seeing a film for ages!

I'm excited for Star Wars! And the new Batman movie...and Willy Wonka!! And Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I don't think that one comes out until 2006 though.

I completely forgot to post that I watched Boondock Saints this past week. It was awesome! The second one will be great!

That Sean Patrick Flannery is...whooo....quite a stud muffin.

The Matrix was wild. All of them were great, actually. I was a Matrix gal for Halloween one year. Fight Club was good, kinda weird, but good.
