I was looking at these skills and reading what they are suppose to do in the FAQ's. The FAQ description for both states "if a player inflicts damage on you...". Now my question is do those skills abilties only come into effect if a true player, such as you fine readers out there in the DC world, inflicts damage or do they come into play when a "monster" inflicts damage upon my tender behine???

No. When a skill description reads player it means monster. Though for some of us that is a bit redundant.

Oh one more thing, does the damage that is inflicted by the skill give RPG experience as well or is it just invasion kill points?

since it inflicts damage i gotta believe it gives you xp. that being said i had level four retalitaion and never noticed my xp go up, but the damage is so small that it might be hard to see without a magnifying glass. with level four retal for over a month of my winter time ut bender, i only accumulated 71 retaliation kills. needless to say i no longer have that skill.

I have to say that I believe it does not give you experience.

I base that assumption on the following facts.

If you shoot a monster with a poisoned weapon, you get exp for the initial shot damage, but even if the monster stays poisoned until it dies, the only additional EXP you ever gain is that 1 point from it dying by your hand.

Therefore, if EXP from the poison effect was overlooked, I would bet money that Retaliation based EXP was overlooked as well.

So what happened? Did you reset your character or just got rid of the skill and received the skill points to redistribute?

Mysterial told me directly that it does.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.
