i have been playing that class for a looong time and here are my feelings..

1) there is a bug when u place a damage sphere, and u go outside the sphere u still have damage bonus .

2)i think inv sphere drains waaaay to much adren i rather like a smaller radius but less adren used. yestarday i was playing with bait, and we did wave 12 but at cost of everyone trowing me adren to keep the sphere, man that thing does eat adren waaay to fast i think the exp/adren ratio is not balanced.

3)not having denial its fine, after all you still have many adren to spend into MWM normaly i use protection trans and lucky shield..and then +1 the trans, in order to keep me alive.

4) sometimes i think i kill critters way to fast, i dont know if its right or its just skill.

5)fireball its a tricky spell, if there are low levels it can be devastating due the 1 hit ko to most creatures. but when high lvls get in, its pointless.

6)i havent broke the 6k exp mark however i have been close in few maps scorring 5.6k and 5.8k exp, but in what respects to points it have been "low" making more or less than 3k-4k(if lucky)

7) i have cost me a looot of learning and all my keyboard re-maped. so as bel said before, its just matter of playing diferent, right now i dont care about weapons, just adren.

having adren leech, its pointless, i dont use weapons so all my adren comes from killing and making sprees.

9)sometimes i do ran out of adren, but when using damage sphre + lr+ fireball.

10) rod isnt self sustainable anymore, good job.

11) damage sphere and fireball is some kind of self sustainable, but only when right conditions are meet. otherwise it isnt.

12) i think there should be another skill like adren barrel, it let u storage adren and u dont waste until needed.

13) having ultima is a nice add, normaly when i run out of adren i just trow my self into maaaany monsters fire fireball to the ground that in order to kill my self then let ultima grants me adren..

Correct. The spawner does have the effect in or out of the sphere. I thought that would be best.

For less drain with smaller radius use the globe. It does eat lots of adrenaline because if it didn't you would win every game by having 2 or 3 extreme AMs running the sphere between them through wave 16.

Because it isn't weapon focused, denial would be out of character.

or perhaps a bit of both. Some things may be too strong, in which case we need to look at them. But most other Extreme AMs are not scoring as high as you.

With the higher level monsters you have to move to something that ignores DB/DR - sort of like WMs moving to Piercing.

I have you breaking 6k 4 times, with a max of 6581 scored on the 12th on map Malevolence. Your average rate of gaining xp is currently 117 per minute, which fits in with 3k-4k per map. This is high, but the only 2 other players to have played Extreme AM more than 10 times are scoring 20-40 xp per min less than you. So, provided your high scores are not due to one particular trick being too powerful, I think we are ok.

At some point we might look at upping the max stats. However, it is a fine balancing act - we must not allow anyone to globe through the whole of wave 16.

ohhh sometimes i dont pay attention to my scores, but i had the feeling it was a bit higher than any other class, so far i have "tested" with DW and flak monkey playing zerker and i can keep those guys..


ohh btw i still feel that XAM at my level is only just plain dull skills left, like speed or air master, dont get me wrong they are usefull but not usefull to get more exp/points..

btw add another mark to the 6k scores in 1on1 squader.. 6.1k there.

It does max too early by far.

But if I doubled the cost of every AM skill so that it maxed later I would have a serious mutiny. So I can't see that getting fixed. So AMs will always max too early.

How would it be serious mutiny? I among others who play here also agree with Para, that the class maxes out way too early. I have suggested ways to fix this without prevail. If such a task were to be taken as to change how early the AM class maxes, I doubt many will oppose. In contrast, I believe many will approve. It's not at all nerfing the class, it's just slowing them down a notch.

actually i feel that the curve of exp is just wrong, when you are low lvl 5-30 i was getting maybe if lucky 1k exp maybe more, then when hit 40-55ish only 1.1-1.3k exp, then when in level 75+ the exp was just exponential, like 2.2k maybe 2.5k, past level 100 and u can easily make 3k if playing good, after that the curve just breaks when hitting extreme AM getting +4k,

75 was the magic number for me ,as soon as I hit that level my scores/xp were (after 20 painfull lvls) at a "good" level

it seemed as if a switch was flicked and the class was much easier to play.
can't remember if this was the same for my MW ,defiantly not for my Medic (smooth sailing all the way )
from 100 or so the AM became as easy (for me) to play as my WM

I beleave that it was about lvl 80 when I noticed that it was easier to us my am and after 100 it actually more fun to play becasue (a) I got into the groove of the class (b) I had purchased enough things that it was now not a pain in the butt to do things and actually play!

NOW I happen to really like the AM/WM sub class so far that I've played it!

I may be getting old and falling apart but I can sure can raise Hell and have fun doing it!
