I think I got mine as I was about to die.
Can you try to remember what artifact you had currently selected - it may be certain artifacts that cause it.

I wonder, is it mainly engineers getting the crash?

Who is getting these crashes - can you let me know what classes please?

I thank I had the lighting sent artifact on screen at the time but was not in the process of using it.

Crash was instant with a complete shut down of the game, back to the deck top with a crit error screen in the center.

Went into game 0017 18 Mar Wave 9 3 people in game.

Placed two sentels killed a dozen monsters and died. 15 to 20 seconds after death game crashed to desk top with critical error screen. sence I crashed while dead no weapon were selected and no artifacts selected.

You seem to be getting the crashes more frequently than anyone else? I wonder why?

Have you tried playing a class other than Engineer - do you still get the crashes?

As far as the client side goes, it shouldn't make any difference from the standard Engineer. You don't even have additional artifacts that may cause it. I am trying to duplicate on my test system, but haven't succeeded yet.

I have not been getting crashes but I have been loosing connection a whole lot lately don't know if its because I have cable modem now or not but it sure has happened alot since I switched from dsl...got less lag tho

I may be getting old and falling apart but I can sure can raise Hell and have fun doing it!

oh had a medic rl going in the char running down the stairs from the flag and got swarmed the only other player on died just before it crashed.
