Well guess I'll keep this thing rolling. Names Nick but you all know me as Fire_Eclipse or Fire depending on how well you know me. Live in Red Lodge, MT and am going going to College in Bozeman or as Biceps puts it (Bozo), MT. As of current I am 22 and transfered over to Bozeman from Powell, WY Northwest College. I am in College to learn how to make movies as well as running any theater productions that come up here at the College as well as learning to run PBS Montana's television stations master board. The station I am working covers almost all of Montana. Means that if biceps ever reads this tune in to PBS (KUSM) during the morning and the changing of shows is me. I can have a funky sense of humor and I'll admit sometimes a sick sense of humor. Well that's all you guys are getting out of me. Good night and happy hunting when you play UT2004.
P.S. Speaking of which that is really the only game I play.

Hi All,

biceps1 here. I am a bodybuilder from Montana, who is also a black belt in shotokan karate. I have been playing unreal since the game first came out way back when. Seems like I upgrade my computer every year or so just to have the speed to play UT.

If you get really bored you can check out my website at http://home.bresnan.net/~biceps11 .I wear a shirt that pretty much describes me, it says "I am not very smart, but I can lift heavy things!"

Glad to play on DC server and enjoy killing with most of you! If you see me online be sure to say hello!

Hey Spacey, I feel sorry for you doing chemistry. I know how what you mean when you have one of those classes where most people fail. My first semester O-Chem had about 80 people in it. About ten to fifteen dropped out after the first test. Only about 30 people passed the class. I almost had a B in the class and I was in the top 5% of the class. So, that shows what kind of a class that was. The professor was really hard. She used to teach at some of the Ivy League schools. The second semester O-Chem was about the same. The only thing that kept me with a high C is I came close to getting a perfect score on the final. No offense Spacey, but I hate chemistry, so I don't know how you majored in that.

Chemistry was not the problem, having been a 4yr lab assistant in HS, and being so far up the curve that the Chem teacher would figure my grade, then remove me and figure each other person's grade. His method was to set the average to some value, and then add so much per standard deviation. I never was less than 5 standard dev over average. The last quarter, I took one test and the final, and my aggregate was such that on a 4.6 scale, I was over 9 because of the curve. Then later I took the Honors 200 sequence at Ohio State, and had one of the highest grades for the group (4.0). But when OSU lost the grades which had been sent on from the College of Arts and Sciences to the registrars office for recording, and everyone told me that the only person who could correct it was the prof (who was teaching over the summer at Cambridge), I knew I was done over royally. Worse, they lost my schedule request for Fall quarter...so I transferred out.

Oh, and for chemistry in HS, Ohio had scholastic tests they gave each year in all sorts of subjects, like english, chem, etc. The year I took Chem, I took the test as well. Finished the test in 20 minutes (it was a 3 hr test), and made 3 very stupid mistakes. 4 people in the state missed 2 questions and 2 of us missed 3.

O-chem was OK, Q&QA was fun, but my favorite area was dealing with metals chemsitry. Physics was even more fun, and Astrophysics was more fun over that. It is just a real PITA when they have a course where you are supposed to be taking integration concurrently and they throw problems at you which mandate partial differentials. Worse, take a 4 qtr hr class and throw in 14 problems with the expectation of an hour/problem for 70% of your grade. No questions on the problems or related problems, since you are there to learn how to solve them. Reality was 4+ hrs per as a class, and we only solved 30% on average...no curve, etc. That is why most places would look at a BS Physics from OSU during that period as the equivilent of a masters or PHD from some other schools.

Geeeez man!! Good thing you were not thrown into the grading curve. People in your classes would of been at your front door ready to hang you. I agree with you on physics. That was a fun subject....well, at least, most of it. I like engineering even though I didn't get an engineering degree. I should of. I should of done either mechanical engineering or electrical engineering. Bottom line is, you make me feel like the gum on the bottom of your shoe or that sticky stuff on the theatre floor (what is that stuff?!). I just use my degree as a paper weight or kindling.

Hi Folks! As one of the older players on this server, I often put up with a certain amount of flak from family and friends for being online so much. I started with computers back in the Doom days when you had to deal with dos to network. Since then, I have infected many of my friends and family in several states with this gaming disease, and will continue to do so until they pry my cold dead fingers ....
Born in Chicago suburb, raised in same. In the Navy for a while; got my GED, went to college(s). Couldn't settle on a major; last one was computer science, but I kept falling asleep in class after a few semesters. The only thing that has really held my interest over the years has been fireworks, which I continue to enjoy. I work shows around the Chicago area, and have a great time doing my own show once a year (it kills my savings account). I drive a ready-mix truck for a living; the pay is good and keeps my fireworks from bankrupting me. I am currently learning FrontPage (when time and time away from this server allows) and will be setting up a few web pages in the near future. I still enjoy computers in general and like to tweak mine to it's full potential. Still waiting for that really excellent gaming LCD, though.
See you all on the other side!

Hi all. I guess its time to reveal the taco. My name is Matt Wiggins. I went to School In SLC with Shan, then moved to ogden for college. There i became addicted to FPS games. I played the original UT against bots for a couple a of years (no internet then) then when the dorms got wireless i got into AVP2. from there I became a fanboy of Q3 and return to wolfenstein.

I currently work for AOL, and have started my own movie company. The movie website is linked to my profile, so drop on by if you want to see the movies we have done so far. I am a pisces. not that anyone really cares. Apart from games I am a huge Anime and film fan. So if anyone knows where i can find an Invader Zim skin or an Evil dead Ash skin ...

Anyways, feel free to disregard anything you read here. unless you really like it.

Well, I haven't known most of you long, but I think that will change over time.

As of Sunday, I am 29. I was born in Florida, but have lived in Indianapolis almost my entire life. I'm a Purdue Univerisity grad, originally studied Aerospace Engineering, but switched to Computer Technology after meeting a girl and deciding I wanted to have a job when I graduated.

I have done consulting since graduating, and let me tell you, it sucks. When people describe it as being the 'internet janitor', they are not kidding. It really does feel like scrubbing someone's mental toilets day in, day out.

Anyway, I build all my PC's that I use at home(would never do that in a business though), so if you ever want advice, feel free to ask. I help people with their computer problems for a living, so I'd hope I was good at it.

I'm a very eclectic gamer, I own upwards of 100 PC games, so chances are if you've played something I have too. UT has been a favorite in the FPS genre for quite some time, and it's nice to get that cooperative feel from a game that you used to get while playing doom with a freind against the monsters.

I found DC through ArsTechnica.com, a computer enthusiast's site. They run their own UT server, though its basically ONS all the time, and empty. I know they were looking at trying to host a similar setup as Druid here, but so far they've not done anything with it.

My gaming rig is an Athlon 64 3200+, 1 Gig DDR400 Ram, but my videocard is the bottleneck being only an ATI Radeon 9600 with 256 vid memory. Frankly, my eyesight isn't good enough to pick up all the extra frames, so I skimp there.

I also suffer from a disability called 'Audio Processing Disorder', which is sort of like dislexia for hearing. I hear tones perfectly fine, and in fact my hearing is quite good. The problem is that when I hear words, they are jumbled, so I have to guess at what's being said to me constantly. I'm a pretty good guesser, though, but if you're saying something to me in voice chat, don't be offended if I ask you to repeat it or sound like I wasn't listening to you. And yes, I sometimes mistranslate what people are saying to me into strange things.

I've been married over 5 years, but have no children yet. I also have a quirky sense of humor, so I appologize in advance, especially to Captain Crunch, who seems to have gotten an unfair amount of my joking when I see him lately. Sorry man.

Hey, the guy can dish it out... he may as well be on the receiving end too.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.
