I saw AVATAR a few days ago. and I concur with TheElectrician. As far as the story line goes it's another cowboys verse indian routine of military forcing out unwanted peoples to get what they desire. Over all I agree with the Visual A++ that you rated it as. I didn't take a look at the acting because I was so mesmerized by the Visual Effects. I also went and saw SHERLOCK HOLMES and that movie was smashing. The action!!!!The adventure!!!! The Gadgets!!!! lol. It was a very cool movie and I'd love to see them come out with just one or two more. I also saw BLINDSIDE and at the start that one is a tear jerker. Yes I cried I admit it. Him washing his clothes in the sink because he doesn't have the money for the washer and sneaking his clothes into someone elses dryer got me the most. After that however most of it was laughs and giggles. You'll just have to watch to understand what I'm talking about.

At lease they had a movie to close it off, many good shows get canceled and leave you hanging and asking "Why did you take it away?"

YES! I LOVE that show! So original and hilarious. I bet you found it on netflix streaming.

I'm a little late to the show, but I finally saw Avatar. The dialogue made me want to blow my brains out... seriously. It's shockingly bad and pretty predictable, but I still enjoyed the movie nonetheless. And I really didn't get the whole "save the earth or else" vibe from it like I was expecting. Instead the take away (from my perspective) was basically don't be a jerk in cyberspace. Any of the main characters could have jumped out of their avatars and gone about their lives regardless of any acts they committed while connected, but they chose to be involved and treat their relationships with the Na'vi like anyone else... which really speaks to behavior I see online. People seem to think the veil of anonymity the Internet provides is an excuse to act rudely. I have to believe those individuals wouldn't behave in the same manner when dealing with people face to face when there are tangible consequences.

</ramble>Anyways, go see it. It's a beautiful movie

Ok, it's fine to do sequels now and then of popular movies.. All them classic horror flicks from the 70's and 80's, but how many remakes can a generation handle? Rob Zombie started us off the other year, raising Halloween from the movie grave. I haven't seen all of them but maybe the first 2 and haven't seen his renditions yet. So I can't say how he did. Fast forward to this year. Here is what's coming up:

Robin Hood with Russel Crow. Now how many times can we make this story? Wasn't Price of Thieves enough? Actually, it should have ended with Men In Tights...the beat-all Robin Hood flick! I'm not saying it doesn't look like a good movie...it does. But come on....Ya, I'll watch it and enjoy it I'm sure. I'm just saying, how many times can we tell this story in different ways.

The Karate Kid. OMG...flashback. The sequels sucked, we can all agree with that, but this one? I don't know, it's updated and takes place in China. It too has potential. Time will tell.

Alice in Wonderland. Ok, perhaps we needed a good movie version of this story. And from what the critics are saying, they did a good job at it too. I will let this one slide cuz, ya, I wanna see it too.

A Nightmare on Elm Street. Now there goes the neighborhood. This one did not need a remake...as much as it needed another sequel. I don't care who did this one...you cant top Wes Craven. Or can you? I don't know if I want to watch it just in case it makes me feel different about the original. But, I will, probably, eventually. But you cant have Freddie Kruger without Robert Englund.... MAKEUP!

Ok, movies I'm looking forward too:

TRON. Disney is working overtime as most of what is coming up is from them. This story is way overdue. This was a pioneer movie in it's computer effects and vision. I wont be first in line, but will see it when it comes to red-box.

Shrek, The Final Chapter. Oh ya, this looks good. Nice to have another chapter is this classic series.

Iron Man 2. This looks very nice!!!! I saw the "merchandise" in wally world the other day. I knew they planned on making a 2nd one, didn't know it was this far along. SWEET!

Price Of Persia. THIS LOOKS AWESOME! For us old gamers (30+) you may remember this video game on the PC. The original was fun and challenging. It spawned a few more updated sequels with much better graphics not too long ago. Can't say how they were, but they did look good. I can't wait to see this one.

The Sorcerers Apprentice. Get ready Nicholas Cage fans. Ripped from the past of Fantasia comes the story greater than that it came from...so ya, in name alone only, but also looks just wonderful. Visuals look sweet. Kinda like Karate Kid meets Harry Potter.

Toy Story 3. Wife will be happy to see this one. Looks good. Hope it's up to par with the others, but I have never been disappointed by a Pixar film yet.

Ok, that's it for now. All of these trailers you can see on trailers.apple.com.

Anyone watch the "red banned" trailers for "Kick-A**", on you tube.

I think its goona be a great movie.

Nicolas Cage seems very twisted in the previews.

May have to check that out. This movie reminds me of TMNT meets the Watchmen. I hope it's as entertaining as the previews make it to be.

Ok, I missed this one the first time around. Dont know how I missed it, but...

THE A-TEAM!?!?!? Another great flashback from 20+ years ago. I loved the series. Don't know how this one will be. I will have my reservations. BA just won't be the same without Mr. T. The look is good, but you expect that voice and it just aint there.

I just started watching it. I saw the first 3 episodes. I thought it was a new show...go figure.

Clash of The Titans...
Was better than I expected. Lots of action pretty much from the beginning to the end..movie seemed short to me but it is almost 2 hours for run-time. Anyway I give it a 7/10 rating.
