When a new player enters the server, they start off at level 5. You increase your level by gaining experience points (exp) from shooting up and killing monsters. The amount of exp needed to get to each level increases as shown here: http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dc/xptable.jsp
For each level you get 7 ability points which you can spend how you wish. Press L on the keyboard to look at the ability and skills menu in game. Skills such as loaded weapons, vamparism, regeneration, resupply etc. can only be bought when you buy enough for a certain ability such as adrenaline max, health max, weapon speed, damage reduction etc. For example, you can only buy the skill Resupply when you have bought 50 points of ammo max.
You can check you see what is needed for each skill by pressing the Info button in ability and skills menu. You can also go to http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dc/rpgfaq.jsp for more info about skills, abilities and artifacts on this server

hmmm maybe someone already put all the FAQs and stuff on the site. One merely has to click a couple times in the right sopts. No matter how obvious a place you put the FAQ in, a good portion of people will miss it. This has been proven many many many many a time during the age of Man.

Nazer: I'll give you a quick rundown.

To level up, you need expierience points (XP). To get XP, all you need to do is damage a monster. You don't need to kill any. When you level up, you will get a message on your screen saying so. On this server, unless they changed it, you start out as a Level 5 character. For every level you gain, you get 7 stat points. You can use these stat points to increase your weapon speed, damage, max ammo, etc.

You can also buy abilities, like the one you mentioned. But in order to purchase an ability, you need to first meet the prerequisits (requirements). In order to get the first level of Loaded Weapons, for example, you need to have the ability Resupply. To get resupply unless my memory fails me, you need to put 50 stat points in to Max Ammo. After meeting the prereqs of an ability, you will finally be given the option to purchase the ability with stat points. The amount an ability differs from ability to ability, depending on how powerful it is. For example, the firt level of Loaded Weapons costs 10 stat points. That is a pretty low cost, as far as abilities go.

The first stuff it is recommended you put points in to is Health Bonus and one level of the Regen ability. You must remember that there is no "right" place to put your stat points. The best players will put their stat points in to whatever abilities and stats that suits their playing style the best. Aggresive players (people who are gung-ho) will put points in to aggresive abilities and stats first (weapon speed, damage bonus, vampirism) cautious players (people who go "eeeeeeeee" when they see a monster and then run away) tend to go for stuff that will keep the from the spectre of death as long as possible (damage Reduction, Health Bonus, Regen) when they first start.

It's also worthwhile to note that you can see the higher level player's stats here: http://www.disastrousconsequences.com/dc/rpg.jsp

All the names are clickable, so you can see what skills that the various players have

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Except mine, you can't see mine. They are top secret and you do not have clearance. Hey Cloud shouldn't you be playing battleship instead of missing sarcastic remarks?
