I decided to put a list of steps for creating a Fantasy Football team on Yahoo sports. I was creating a league and I figured I should document it before I forgot how to do it

First Step:
Click Here for yahoo fantasy football http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/

Second Step:
Click on the light blue button on the right that says “Join a League”

Third Step:
Next click the left side button that says “Join Custom”

Fourth Step:
Put in the league ID and password. (For the DC league I will PM you them)

Fifth Step:
Design your team.
1) Team Name
2) Football helmet
3) Preferred e-mail
4) Time zone

Last Step:
Now you’re all registered and you should be shown on the team list. The Last step is to rank the players you want to draft in order. So when it comes to be draft day the computer will pick from your list.

To do this go to the red tab at the top saying “My Team” or just click on your teams name.

Next click the blue link in the middle of the opened window that says “Pre-Draft Player Rankings”

After that click on the left link that says “Edit my Rankings” (this is right next to the big list of Pre-Draft Player Rankings.

This is a bit complicated, but not too bad. You'll see three boxes, these are where you put players you want to draft. The middle box has the top 25 ranked players... you can change that with the drop down menus above to see Quarterbacks, Defense, Running Backs etc.

The box on the left will exclude a player from drafting... so you will know you will not ever get that player if you put them in that box. (Personally I've never touched this box)

The box on the right is where you want to put your players you want to draft. The order you place them in will be the order the computer will try and draft them for you.

I suggest putting Quarterbacks, Running backs, and Wide Receivers towards the top. In the middle I'd place Tight Ends, Defense, and Kickers, but that's up to you. I tend to place 30-40 players in the list to be safe.

Lastly, save it and you're all set. If there are any questions feel free to PM me about anything.
