06/21/2007 Engineer class officially in beta!

After much speculation, numerous stops and starts, a few adventures, and a pre-beta period, the engineer is officially entering beta status this week.

The Engineer is a new class being added to DruidsRPG.

Engineers are designed to stay off the front lines, supplement the team by providing heavy artillery, close the back doors, and provide better armor.

The engineer is a uniquely different play experience, as the player can summon vehicles, artificially intelligent machinery (sentinels), turrets, and obstructions. In addition, they can boost up a players shields, and strategically use their engineer link gun to build things quicker, better, and badder.

The vast majority of this new class was developed by Szlat, but every member of the engineering team has made contributions to this beta.

We look forward to seeing you in game, to try out this new and unique style of gameplay!

congratz with the 4th class in your RPG druid. hopefully some more really nice classes will eventually follow the others.

I played as engineer on a few servers and i loved it !
But these servers are all gone now. I would like to play engineer as singleplayer too but where can i get it ?

yea, they should make another public download i think. i mean it has been a while. preferably the latest one

hey nothin wrong with it... it's a good strategy to create some diversity amongst servers, and to give people a reason to continue to return to his server...

of course, it's a quick way to disappoint a bunch of other server admins, but hey

I'm not releasing my jack-of-all-trades class yet, so we're 1 and 1

servers end up with it either way, It just makes him look true to his word on download where it says "updated every few months". when was that one put on there... at least a year ago that i know of

eh from what i've heard the engineer class was also one of the most overpowered classes, so i can understand if it's taking a while...

Let's put it this way, the players' natural abilities put aside, a level 100 engineer can and will beat a 300, 400, or 500 level weapons master about 50% of the time.

what about adren master :/ they can globe every wave all they need is adren
