HRH the Queen of Metal, Mr Rob Halford and Co. are back in business!

I've just listened to the latest Judas Priest album, and the boys are certainly back in town! Where else are you going to find horrendous lyrics, needless guitar solos and overblown musical passages? Songs about demons and warlocks, battling for the power of lust. As Dio is now appearing in dodgy second-rate UK commercials for washing detergent and Bruce Dickinson is too busy getting his Botox injections, the world has been crying out for a saviour. The Priest has answered our call!

The highlight of the album has to be the closing song - a 14 minute long 'epic' based upon the mystery of Loch Ness.

Metal never tasted so good!

Hear hear!

Fantastic album, just snagged it the other day. JP's still got it! My other fav never-die bands would be Def Leppard and Scorpions, still pushing albums. Schweet.

cheers.

Stephen: Stephen is my name. I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.
Hamish: "Your island"? You mean Ireland?
Stephen: Yeah. It's mine.
Hamish: You're a madman.
Stephen: I've come to the right place then!

I just caught a new Judas cut on Sirius driving down to Missouri. Not to shabby, but they will never outdo breaking the law and you got another thing coming.

good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

Breaking The Law is superb, but I think one of their later songs, Painkiller, is up there with the best - self-indulgent and incredibly outrageous!

It's sad, but the more I listen to Loch Ness, the more I want to cover it!

(I'll close the door quietly on my way out...)
