lol......u guys can't stand too much gore??......so far, i've never been grossed out by movies like saw, texas chainsaw massacre or the hostel........cmon, the blood looks like v8 most of the time......of course, they make it a bit realistic by making the surroundings darker and stuff but still it's obvious dat its fake.....at least to me .........i know the scenes u guys are talking about but they're not rly all dat gory.......its a bunch of needles making some lady a human porcupine and a bald guy getting incinerated inside dat thing but they're rly nothin.......so far, gory movies don't give me the creeps but stuff like the exorcist 1 and 2, exorcism of emily rose, or any movie having to do with satan gives me nightmares lol.........dat can be attributed to me being brought up as a christian lol......but now i don't go to church anymore and i'm a bit nihilistic so maybe its just guilt.....heheheheh

and btw its not mark wahlberg on the saw 2.....i think, its his brother

He has a brother???? WHOA, I was convinced it was Mark, however I'm kind of glad it wasn't because it wouldn't have been his best performance, but good for Donny... he fooled me lol. Oh and Timmy, Hostel and I won't be seeing each other, um ever

Hostle was just plain wrong! I love horror flicks, and if you don't like gore don't come trick or treating at my house! There'g a G rated candy passing out in the front, and a PG 13 (at least) in the back! LOL But hostel was almost a snuff flick. (ever watch 8 mm, you'll know what I mean, if not get it, I thought it was good. Nic Cage any way.)

Now the uncut version of The Exorsist was good, but the the scene with her walking down the stairs upside down backwards on her hands and feet just sends me under the covers every time! LOL And The Thing, when the doctor is giving chest compressions and his hands fall through and get bitten off makes me jump too.

Oh, and speaking of horror, I think if I hear "The Right Stuff" ever again I'll probably have to be hospitalized. LOL

hmm......the only time i heard of new kids on the block is when they have it on E! True Hollywood story......they're suppose to be the 1st boyband lol and they even hav dolls of themselves.....errr.......weird......anyhoo, I grew up in the backstreet boys, nsync, new boybands era lol......lame but catchy music......LOL@manufactured bands

btw, i saw stay alive last night(at like 3:00 AM ) and its a bit boring and the only redeeming factor of the movie is dat they mentioned 'Unreal Tournament' in the movie and 'Silent Hill'. Lol, when they mentioned Unreal Tournament, I can't help but smirk at the thought of them playing the same game as i do even tho they're fictional characters.....k.....dats sad....lol

"The Right Stuff", as in the movie about Yaeger and the Mercury 7 program? That ain't horror... no way, no shape, no how! IMO, a great movie, but being an Air Force brat, what do you expect!!!

No,no,no Spacey! The New Kids song! LOL!!! I liked the flick, a little long at times I had thought, but still good.

Just got done watching Pulse, unrated version, wasn't as scary as some people made it out to be but it did have a few good freaky parts, graphics were great too.
For those that don't know, this movie is basicly about someone opening a "portal" unknowingly after unlocking some frequencies via the internet, they can also access us through cell phones, PDA's, ect. ....allowing spirits to come through......maybe I should turn off my computer...hmmm lol

It was worth the rental fee, may be even worth purchasing sooner or later.
I give it a 7 or a B, depending how you are scoring lol.

Never heard of Pulse. Is that new? I haven't seen any new movies for a bit. I think the last "new" movie I saw was the third X-Men movie which I didn't like that much.

This upcoming Friday is going to be the release of Eragon. If its as good as the book I may cry. I cant wait because it has been one of the best books I've read. I'll be sure to post my own review on Friday evening.

IMDB rates Pulse at 3.8/10 w/ this reviewer to quote:

Like so many tired teen horror films before it, ... "Pulse" has the laziest of horror film ambitions: an endless series of characters making slow, deliberate walks to some sort of random objective (in this movie, it is usually a computer screen) with the steadily rising score beneath their paces. And then, the orchestra crashes, the sound effects are blasted at dangerously high levels, and something (ghost, corpse, animal, landlady, Dick Cheney, etc.) bursts out at the character. Over and over and over.

I'll pass, but thanks!

I could have sworn I saw that movie within the past 6 months on DVD. Is it the one with the guy who tries to contact his dead wife through static from electronics?
