Main reason for going from a +10 to an +11 on a vorpal or rage...an extra 10% damage...bring the bugs down in 90% of the time it would take for a +10. Then if you double/triple it...

"Froed" - When the leader of the game for several waves (1-5, or later), is passed by another player, particularly one that came in relatively late in the game (most accurately applied when the score differential between former leader and new leader is 100+ points within a wave), he/she has been "Froed". Named after the player (Fro) most likely to pull off the maneuver.

I have seen fodder figure di this more times than I can count. Although irritating, it is still funny.

Not to threadjack, but as Bot pointed out awhile back, a vorp 20 doesn't have a 10% chance to instagib, as it might appear on the surface:

Vorp 10 = 5% to instagib
Vorp 11 = 6%
12 =7%
13 =8%
14=9
15=10
16=11
17=12
18=13
19=14
20=15
21=16
22=17

So vorp 20 will vorp, on average, every 6.66 shots. Vorp 22 will vorp every 5.88 shots. Vorp 22 is like hitting three 7s on a slot machine.

Likewise, not to hijack, but rather following a interesting tangent. Do you realize how many percent of base damage that same Vorp 22 is doing. Remember, this is a trick question, and at least one of us will like the answer.... OK, here it is... the trick is that a normal weapon is 100%, and with 10% per plus, a +10 is doing 200% of base damage, and that +22 is doing... doing 100% + 22*10% or 320% of base damage!! So I think you can see why I said at least one of us would like the answer.

I have (and will continue to) edited the first post to include all the terms I have deemed worthy of inclusion (and "redeemed" those I haven't - haha! get it? ... um, nevermind).

OK, nobody responded to my question regarding what they thought a "Mythbuster" could be, so here it goes...

If you have ever watched Mythbusters, you know how they start out by saying "Don't do this at home. We are what you call professionals" or some such. Well, apply that to a LA player (or any player with high adren and a globe). That player activates the globe, gets right up next to a huge group of bugs (titans, warlords and queens work best), and then fires a deemer or painter pretty much at their feet. If you have noticed, I tend to do this fairly regularly, mostly with the deemer when I can get it. No damage, no hurting other players, just massive damage to the bugs. Wanna make it really big...throw in the triple at the same time, but better fire that deemer quickly! Wanna be insane, primary fire the deemer with either a vorpal or rage as your best weapon! Kinda like Adam and the sweeper motor...it will bite you back!

When you hand out a common ability weapon to everyone we call that cloning.

what would you call the temporary use of an ability of one weapon by another, such as when you primary fire the deemer and switch to a rage weapon (or by mistake accidently go to your harm weapon)?

Timmy: a player that regularly outscores you despite a large level difference.

Party Zone: a place on the map, that if no players are around monsters seem to ball up and wait to be fired at, such as some elevator shafts.

Wet Blanket: using a super weapon on a party zone.

Bouncer: a player that is throwing monsters around the map with a knockback weapon.

I just went back to the begining and read bots original post, nice job of organization and spelling corection.

"Mule" or "Pack Mule" - Any player that holds on to certain weapons only for the purposes of giving them out. Usually applied to a Medic, who would almost never use one of their pack weapons (as they would usually stick to their medic weapon). Can be used to identify a Adrenaline Master who has Denial 3. Also, any player who manages to get maxed Damage weapons for their shock up to their flak (or more).

I just stumbled into this thread while doing a search. Great thread. I've used some of the terms without knowing that they'd been established. I use the term "Yard Sale" when I die and spew all of my artifacts. eg. "Yard sale at the blue flag."

See "Pinata"

Not to annoy those on the server, but .. I'm suddenly tempted to do this once, but only if it entails translocating several feet in the air to intercept an alt-fired deemer. The "wtf" factor might elicit a giggle.
