They probably do the same thing to your blood pressure as peanut butter does. That stuff will kill ya just from the smell

Hobo Joe, what is your deal with peanut butter? It is only like the top sandwich ingredient of all time. If you want to try out a good alternative, I had this stuff while I was in Germany this summer. I have seen it in stores over here too so keep an eye out for it.

This is pretty much chocolate peanut butter.

lol, I've just never liked peanut butter. And as for the top sandwich ingredient, in our household, it's not peanut butter, it's liverwurst *drools* NO it's not really liver, I'm not actually sure what it is, but it's really good!!!!

as for the link, it didn't work. But I'm not sure I want to see chocolate peanut butter; that kinda ruins the chocolate part of it

Isn't liverwurst pork liver, pork belly, and something else? I'm not a big fan of pork. If you really like liver hobo, I'll PM you what the liver does in detail for the body. Peanut butter on the other hand....YUMMM YUMMMM!!!

Don't mind Hobo, he is, ummmm, different.

Hello:

I like pizza , Lays salt viniger chips, Cadbury Flake bar . I often make my own thin crust pizza on a stone using homemade sauce and crust. I prefer organic vegies on it with cheese and fresh basil. Did not eat chips until I quit smoking 2.8 years ago.

Liverwurst is made of liver {pork}and I eat it sometimes when I have a craving for it.

Not a fan of Peanut Butter only like it in cookies.

oh oh, I forgot, my neighbors are from england so I get free english chocolate all the time... Flakes are good, but I love the Zero bars, they're like chocolate outside with mint inside, but it's so light you barely feel like you're eating anything but the flavor is so good. English chocolate is just so much better than ours, well except for whoppers, those are just good all around

Cheap peanut butter kills you because it's pretty much a few peanuts and lots of partially hydrogenated vegetable oil. You know, the stuff that clogs your heart valves? Because it's found in such a terribly high concentration, your chances of survival would probably be higher if you ate three Hardee's Monster Thickburgers opposed to 400ml of cheapo peanut butter.

That's not to say all peanut butter is bad though. Some were made without using hydrogenation, like those issued as war rations during WW2. Once Wonderbread, the world's most well known sliced bread was introduced, the soldiers paired their peanut butter and jelly k rations with it, and the pb&j sandwich was born. It still enjoys a popular following today

Pyramidion I think that German chocolate could beat Engish chocolate any day. Right now I have a German exchange student staying with me for a semester and sometimes his parents send us some chocolate. It rocks.

Sometimes I really dig a PBJ, and the peanut butter that comes with MRE's now is pretty nasty. It is really hard, not moist at all, and lets just say it helps to keep you out of the John. I think the peanut butter with all the excess hydrogenated oil is the junk in candy bars. TLC has a show called HOW ITS MADE and the other day they were at a peanut butter factory. Anyhow, I don't remember seeing them add any oil.

good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

CPL, you really kill me! There's actually a brand of peanut butter that's completely pure. You have to stir the peanut oil in because it serparates. Oh, its so good! Unfortuneately, a little expensive. Its called Adam's if any of you want to try it, I like the crunchy version. When I was taking English 1010, a fun end-of-the-year assignment was to write on a subject of our choice and we were supposed to find out how it was invented or something. My paper was on peanut butter. I don't remember much from it, but that March is officially Peanut Butter Month. My teacher thought it was fun. I was quite proud of that essay.

Anyway, these snacks are all great ideas, but I can't believe no one has mentioned TATER TOTS! (and chocolate milk)

When I was young my dad would not allow peanut butter in the house so I did not have it until I was around 19. I first had it at a youth hostel, and only ate it because I was hungry due to a shortage of funds. I hitchhiked from Ontario to British Columbia in 1974 when I was 19.

I think Peanut butter is a lazy way to make food fast and it is cheap. It takes much more time to prepare a sandwich using cheese (not sliced processed rubber cheese), tomatoes, cucumbers, dark green leaf lettuce and fresh cooked chicken (this is an example) that is a much healthier alternative. By all means I do not mean to offend anyone.

Growing up young in the UK the fast food I ate was Marmite on toast that is a nutritious yeast extract filled with vitamin B. I still eat it on occasion. I do eat junk food as a treat, like potato chips and chocolate but I try to eat as healthy as I can. This is preventive medicine.

Swiss chocolate is much darker it has a higher Cocoa content, which is better for you. It is the quality of beans that are used. In the USA and Canada chocolate may be an additive in a chocolate bar. If you read the label often you will see ?chocolaty coating? that boils down to no chocolate at all in it. Not sure of the label laws in the USA.

I think if you use these foods as snacks on occasion, they will not hurt you, but if these foods are a large part of your diet then you may have problems down the road. I think it is okay to snack on peanut butter as long as it is organic using only peanuts. Then you will avoid added fats, preservatives and sugar. This type of peanut butter does not have any fats added you have to keep it in the fridge as it has no preservatives.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.
