We have a well defined appeal process, if the banned person is courteous towards us and follows our process, often they will be unbanned.
The only person that can appeal a ban is the person that is banned, therefore there is no need to vouch, vote, or discuss the banning of a player in our public forums, or with our administrative staff.
There are cases where a person doesn't follow the process, doesn't treat us in a courteous manner, or is banned a second time where there is no further chance of appeal.
We try to use our best judgment at the time someone is permanently banned. If you question us as to why someone is permanently banned, realize that you are directly questioning our judgment.
Therefore, our best advice to you, is that if someone talks to you about them having been banned, have them email administrators@disastrousconsequences.com to follow the appeal process.
Inquiries into why someone has been banned will not be answered without good reasons. Generally, we keep the information about who and why someone has been banned between the relevant parties and ourselves.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.
