Just decided to add this mutator to my server last week. I added it with default settings. Just noticed my server log files were getting quite large. I have the server set up to save every log after a crash. Pulled up one file that was 25megs for 2 maps! The entire log(except the normal startup stuff) contained this line repeated an infinite number of times for the maps:

Error: MonsterMoverGameRules DM-Yro.MonsterMoverGameRules (Function DruidsMonsterMover102.MonsterMoverGameRules.FindPlayerStart:01D1) Accessed array 'Nodes' out of bounds (0/0)

or

Error: MonsterMoverGameRules DM-DEATHMATCHPRO.MonsterMoverGameRules (Function DruidsMonsterMover102.MonsterMoverGameRules.FindPlayerStart:01D1) Accessed array 'Nodes' out of bounds (0/0)

By checking the logs this error doesnt occur on every map, but it is happening on about a half dozen maps and it seems to be the same maps. When it occurs, the server lags and eventually crashes and reboots. I've pulled it from the server. If you have any thoughts or ideas, let me know as I thought it was a neat idea for rpg invasion.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about MonsterMover code, and you did not provide information about the maps you're seeing this on, but:

It would be my guess that the maps in question don't have the "Nodes" that the MonsterMover is looking for.

I do know that bots and monsters use certain (and I'm guessing "Node" based) pathing information to assist their AI in getting from point A to point B. Or, in the case of the MonsterMover, I would guess it uses this information to choose where to move a monster.

If you really want to use the MonsterMover, don't use those maps.

Question: Are bots/monsters "easier to kill" on those maps? Do they seem to have issues getting from point A to point B, esp. like when an elevator might be involved?

The map names are in the error codes I posted.... DM-Yro and DM-DEATHMATCHPRO. I haven't played those particular maps after installing the mutator so I'm not sure how they played. I did check the chatlogs for that particular time and the only thing mentioned by players was the lag being experienced.

I was hoping that maybe there would be a setting in the mutators' ini that might be changed to deal with it rather than removing all the maps that are affected by it.

Im not a fan of Deathmatchpro, but Yro is a fun invasion map. Monsters seem to move normally on it as compared to other maps so not sure why MonsterMover doesn't like it. But I'm no mapper so I would have no idea what was in the map(or not in it) that generates the error. The only node I know is in Onslaught

hate to revive a dead topic, but this still seems to be an issue... I have this problem on one of my all time favorite maps "DM-HoldTheCamp" and I'd REALLY hate to remove that map from my list...

any solution to this?
