I Like the StalwartXLClassic one especially, give them a try, what do you guys think?

Dust2k5
Only problem I see is the Deemer room is in a poor location.

StalwartXLClassic
Good map, the deemer room can't be exploited since monster spawn in there.

Here is that deemer location, just fire the letters on the wall as shown and crouch under the fence, or just translocate above the fence. If you could remove the white fence or close it off and remove that stupid bush wanted poster, I forgot about that thing and it might offend some people.

Other than that, you like both maps?
I meant to say can't be exploited on the Stalwart map, edited that.

Sorry for the 4-year necro but what this the poster in question?

If so, I can easily edit it out. This poster appears in two versions of the map that I have, the 2k5 version suggested in this thread, and a newer version with better lighting called DM-DustStorm_a.

The readme details the changes I made:
This is an edit of DM-DustStorm_a for DisastrousConsequences.com.

DustStorm_a itself is an edit of DM-Dust2k5 with numerous changes including: opening up and redesigning a number of buildings, adding teleporters, improving lighting and otherwise making the map invasion friendly. Exploding barrels, a number of static meshes, and great many pickups were also removed, I assume to reduce lag online in invasion. I couldn't find a version of this map for download anywhere, except an expired filefront link, so that's the reason for the extended description. You can find this map on a number of invasion servers.

Monsto Brukes was responsible forDustStorm_a, Equinox made 2k5, and I have no clue who made the CS version.

Still with me? Great! In this version I've greatly improved bot pathing which should prevent out-of-bounds warnings on the DC server and most importantly ensure monsters can find players. I've also attempted to balance play for the DC server by moving the weapon lockers out into the open, and adding health pickups throughout the map. This also will make TDM and TAM play against bots much more fun. Still weapon placement isn't perfect for non-invasion gametypes (for example avrils are in the weapon lockers,) but it is a definite improvement over DustStorm_a. I've also enhanced a few of the textures and added in detail textures on every texture in the map, many of which were decidely low-res. I removed the inexplicably shiny floor shader and changed the barrel texture to contrast with the exploding barrels engineers can now summon. I also removed the teleports in this version since they were a telefragfest. Lastly, this level now has a music track, the classic Forgone Destruction (Forgone.ogg.)

Anyway, this is a decidely unofficial release for DC. Have fun!

~Jefe~

Here's the finished product. If you somehow downloaded the first version I had up for like half an hour, replace it with this version.

This map is permanently vetoed. In this particular case edits will not be accepted. I want to make it clear this has nothing to do with Jefe, it's all about the original author. You may or may not agree with the author's politics; however but based on the content I don't want to give them any space on our server.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

That's a shame, since this version was primarily a port of a CounterStrike map. The original map did not have the poster, and it was added as an more or less as an afterthought, according to the original author:

I apologize

It doesnt really have anything to do with my political stance; I just thought it was an interesting thing to put in the map considering it appears to be set in Iraq.

As for the black textures, I cant seem to get that problem to happen on my machine :S

My apologies if I have offended anyone here by posting the image of the poster, I'll edit it out.
