So, I've been thinking about this for a while. I dont think the medic/healing weapon should work on vehicles...
Thoughts?

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

I really hadn't noticed if they did. Maybe I should pay more attention.
If you're talking about the link gun, I think the link alt-fire should work just like anyone else's link alt fire, if possible. But I also recall that there's a bug somewhere along the line ...
Hmmm ... I may have more to think about this when I get my brain away from work (had to go in for a half day to make a Monday deadline) and more oriented to DC.

Wasn't the reported problem that when you make a medic link, if you alt-fire the link to a vehicle within a few seconds, then the game crashes?

I agree medic weapons shouldn't heal vehicles in general e.g. flak or mini. However, I think that perhaps a medic link ought perhaps to work as a normal link in healing a vehicle?

It should, but I dont think the medic link will need special code for that. I just need to check for a vehicle, and see if there's a driver. If there is, reset the pawn to the driver or some such...
