Was wondering what the moster masters would think of different icons for each summon. I know when I was playing on one I had a bit of trouble telling which one was selected. I think having an icon for each wouldnt be to big of a d/l if the size was kept to 128x128 or 64x64.

That would be awesome.

But it could present a problem on servers where the summon list is different or includes non-satore monsters depending on what kinds of icons you use.

If it were the current symbol but smaller and having a number up in a corner or something that might work.

Are the monsters you can summon modifiable in the ini? If so, simply add the texture for each artifact icon as a config variable, so then people can use any icon they want for whatever.

The artifacts all have an icon in the default properties. So if a different server wasnt using sator's pack then theyd need new artifacts anyways I believe.

Thats not really what I meant. On FragFest we use several of the monsters from the Wehtam Invasion pack as summons. So if you were to make icons that represented satore monsters they wouldnt look like the monster they would summon. Plus if you assign say level 6 to be a skaarj, and I set it to be a brute instead at my server, then the icon is totally wrong.

Besides, the satore monster pack doesn't have anything in it that is used for any current icons. All of those little symbols are either found in the game or the static mesh files of RPG or DruidsRPG.

I'm merely suggesting that we don't use icons that look like the default summons themselves for compatibiility with other servers.

Also, while you could probably make it possible to configure the icon in the .ini file, that seems messy and rather complicated for the average admin who won't necessarily posses the skills to decompile stuff and/or search for icons.

ahh got ya..

Guess it would be better as an addon but would be alot more complicated. I guess I could make the utx have a sator and a vanilla version so admins could use one utx or the other.

On the vanilla it would just be a number for the skill lvl and maybe have different background or background color for low, mid, and high cost monsters.
