also, for input, the different classes is a cool and workable idea in most scenarios except for my servers. weaponsmaster class is the only thing that will be favored on mine. i'm really sure that the monster class would be a big problem (not bug problem) with other players. always got complaints that the monsters were annoying. the healing class is pretty much useless with the high level players we have. although i like it now that they have to conserve a little on their adrenaline.

resurrect resurrection. is it already in 2.0?

Resurrection was just a temporary fix because ghost seemed to regularly ghost you into outer space. Mysterial and I worked a bunch to correct this issue. The larger problem was with any physics model other than walking, swimming, and sometimes falling. If the AI couldn't find a good navigation spot to ghost you to, it wigged.

Mysterial applied a bunch of fixes to the core for different physics models. I fixed the physics changing weapons to the extent possible and I threw some goodies on top of it... I prefer when ghost works when you fall off buildings and such. I also my modified ghost and ultima trigger together.

In any event, the skill is DruidGhost. You could run DruidsRPG2.0 and Still include the DruidsRPG15x server package, and include the old skill from that package in place of the new one. Since they have different package names that would work fine. You'd also have to replace the Ultima skill in 2.0 with the ultima skill from that version as well, since they're interrelated in 2.0

Well, Resurrection worked perfectly (though I've only used it a couple times). Why do you need Ghost? And since Ghost still glitches (as far as I know), why isn't Resurrection still in use?

maybe it is a idea to just keep resseruction added into the package, as it is a replacement for ghost, but quite different.

and i guesse for some servers it just is better to use resseruction.

I would guess Dru prefers you having to wait while you're ghosting rather than resurrection just instantaneously moving you somewhere new with reset health (if I understand how resurrection works). That and he doesn't have to provide a whole new class - just extend Mysterial's.

Ghost is nice because you have a minute to realize "Whoa, I almost died." Resurrection sounds like if you blink, you miss it. Or perhaps mistake resurrection for a lag spike of some sort.

That, and I haven't heard of any Ghost glitches in a while.

Agreed. Druid has stated before he would prefer to simply extend classes he did not exclusively create rather than redesign them.

I also think it's nice to have a second to realize you just died and re-compose yourself while you move to a new area.

I'm wondering if the whole reason the Ghost skill doesn't work well with FHI and resurrection did is because when you ghost the game seems to set your health to 9999 until you respawn?

i also like ghost better then resseruction, but for FHI ress. is beter because it doesnt cause the bug.

vortex, i dont know if it is related to that.
but what i do know is that FHI starts players with 300hp instead of 100, and player can pick-up health packs untill they reach 500hp.
and i am pretty sertain that this do is a part of it.

I"m not sure what you mean on how to include the old skill in place of the new one. Do I add ''serverpackages=druidsrpg155" along with "serverpackages=druidsrpg200" in the server ini file, and then add "Abilities=DruidsRPG155.DruidGhost" in the RPG ini file?

on the ultima, i have the ability set as a removedability on my servers. alomst everyone wants ghost for a second chance, and ultima doesn't give you points for killing monsters i dont think. How do i load the rpg155 ultima so that they resurrection works?

That's why it has the purdy particle effects and the text saying "You have been resurrected." . At least, I think I remember it saying that...

Yup (Make sure the case on the server packages is correct though), and it sounds like in your case, just remove ghost from the list of abilities.

Unless you want to use the new ghost package from DruidsRPG200, you cant combine them. If you do use the 2.00 ghost ability, your players can purchase both ghost and ultima.

Lasty, I believe that Mysterial fixed ultima so that you do score rpg points for ultima kills.

the resurrection works fine. Yes, I don't allow ultima on my servers. I have another problem now which I will start a new thread on.
