I've had Druid's rpg 1.73 on my invasion server for a couple of months and noticed a problem with many players that have attained the loaded weapons ability. When the game first starts, if they don't like their weapons, they continually disconnect and reconnect from the server until they get what they want....usually an inf weapon. Quite frankly, that doesn't seem in the spirit of the game. Any server settings that I can do to prevent this? What I'd like to change is that once a wave has begun, players joining must wait until the next wave....that should discourage it, but I'm not sure which settings will do this. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I believe the way this is solved on most servers is by making it a kick/bannable offense. I have found this is a rule on more than one RPG server I've played on.

I don't think there is anything coded into the RPG to stop it, though.

My Players: Junkie: Kyraeu 85 -- Medic: Excuses 68 -- Weapon: Fyruse 40
Saving for: Ghost 1, 2, 3, then adren skills -- Ghost 3 -- max DB, then some HB

There's no easy solution for this. Really what it comes down to is that if you dont want people playing like that on your server, dont let them play there.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Thx for the quick replies. I will add this to the rss feed.....server admining is like babysitting sometimes I was hoping that I could just change a server setting to stop it or slow it down. I was looking at the webadmin setting under Game, called Late Entry Cutoff. Currently it's set at 1, would setting it to 0 make any difference?

It might. I've not played with those settings since UT2004 first came out. They used to work in 2003, but I dont think they work as well in 2004.
