Maybe it is just me, but since I updated to the new druids version, it seems like I am getting killed (not knocked off) from other peoples super weapons.

Yesterday I played a fair amount and I was killed 5-6 times by other peoples super weapons. This seems like a high number because in the last 2 Months (not counting yesterday) I might of only been killed 4 times total.

Maybe it is just me, maybe not. Anyone else notice this?

it isnt you, you using v173 or v18#.

druid is already aware that it happens, if your using 173, chance is that it has been fixed in a version upto 194.

Probably just coincidence that it seems more are happening now.

If they die before or during the big blast, there's a chance the players in the blast will also be hurt or killed, and trans disks broken.

My Players: Junkie: Kyraeu 85 -- Medic: Excuses 68 -- Weapon: Fyruse 40
Saving for: Ghost 1, 2, 3, then adren skills -- Ghost 3 -- max DB, then some HB

oh, but on DC it has been for quite some time now, i dont know what is causing it.

atleast it is server side, so nothing for you to worry about.

could it be that everytime the deemer kills a player, that the deemer was magic ?

If the player firing a deemer is killed befor the deemer goes off, or by the explosion, teammates in the blast radius will take damage. From what I understand this is caused by the deemer losing its team affiliation when the person who fired it dies.

good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

Nothing that I can think of has changed in recent code that would cause this. I'd like to know if it continues to happen, however, I suspect you just shouldn't go to Vegas this week.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

that would point it towards something in the game itself, and not rpg related at all.

this is somewhat strange, as it was obvious that it started happening more lately ?

strange enough i cant recall ever killing my friend when were playing invasion together and i die because of the deemer i just shot on my foot, and he stands not to far away from me, gets momentum, but no damage.

guesse i'll have to try it sometime, but as it sounds, there is nothing that can fix it.

I have not seen others being killed by deemers "more". I have seen a few more deemercides recently it might seem ... but it's always a goof on the part of the shooter ...

Sounds like a plan. I figured other people would also be bringing this to your attention, but then I thought it was odd. Keep up the GREAT work.

If I am in playing, and somehow I get a deemer, paying attention to frequencies might be something to think about. With me the past month or so, I have almost always been firing off the globe, and then shooting the deemer at my feet to kill the bugs around me...doing what I called The Mythbuster. So no self damage, just the AOE items which would still be in effect with no team damage.

It may be that the "piercing" superweapon bug is back.

We can't be 100% sure that it was the piercing that did it, but Jackaro just fired off a guided deemer, flew it about half way across the map, and killed two players with it. I watched the deemer pass me, blow up in the distance, and saw it take out two players - but Jackaro was no where near the explosion and did not die.

It was BR-IceFields, where there's no flak, and he says it may have switched to his piercing mini.

This was with 197.

If anyone can figure this out for sure, I'd appreciate it! (And a free level is in it for the person who figures out how to duplicate without killing people on purpose)

I looked at the history for RW_EnhancedPeircing, and the code hasn't changed since the fix was put in, so I don't think it's piercing, but I could be wrong.
