Yeah, I'll add my 2 thumbs up on the new Potter flick too! Had a total blast, great, very dark movie. Awesome casting, fantastic direction, beautiful CG (not overused either!), all around I thought it was the best yet. Book purists may get hung up what was cut/tweaked tho, if you're goin in lookin for an exact match. Anyway, yeah, great stuff!

It's the crowd that makes all the difference. Because every person in the audience was a HP fan, we all ooo-ed at the sight of Cho and shared hatred towards Umbridge. And the girls went nuts whenever the Weasley twins appeared on screen... hahaha

So I saw Harry Potter as well this evening. I love the books and have been a little let down by each movie so far. Good news though, the Order of the Phoenix is Fantastic! Alone it's an amazing movie, probably one of the better movies I've seen in awhile, but for a book adaptation it's also very well done. I have heard HP has a new director for this movie and it shows. The movie is very dark (like the book) and really makes you feel the emotions that I felt while reading. By far this is my favorite of the HP movies and is worth every penny to see in the theater. Surprisingly I didn't mind the things they left out... mostly because they didn't leave out much at all. This is my favorite book so I had high expectations for the movie to live up to and it succeeded.

The cast made half of the movie, first off Luna Lovegood was cast perfectly and her character is dead on to the book. I was also very excited to see Tonks and her pink hair . And lastly Dorothy Umbridge's character could not have been played better.

So fantastic movie, it will be the first HP that I will buy on DVD when it comes out, definitely worth a 9.5/10

I just got back from seeing the Simpsons Movie. I'm a huge Simpsons fan, so I was pretty excited for this one. I'm very happy to say that this is one of the funniest movies I've seen this year, I loved every minute of it. The movie is short for a feature film, however the 90 minutes were worth every penny. If you like the Simpsons it's a must see, but either way it's just a great comedy. Fantastic movie and if anything, it's worth going just for the crowd atmosphere.

The Simpsons movie was good, but not as good as it COULD have been, in my opinion at least. Was still good though.

Boingo and I saw the Simpson's movie. We both liked it. I also saw the Transformers. The first half of the movie is pretty good. It loses me in the second half, though. Special effects/CGI was pretty well done.

Pyro and I just went to Stardust on Friday, and I must say that was a ridiculously enjoyable movie! Awesome acting all around, great effects, fantastic story, and seriously funny!

If you haven't seen a preview, heres the link!

Great show, 4 stars, 10/10 and all that. A good solid fairy tale that does a great job of embracing how cliche they all are, yet still telling a great story.

Anyway, yeah, go see it! And I guarantee you'll have a new respect for Mr. De Niro by the end of this flick. =D>

cheers.

Superbad.
was amazing. It's pretty vulgar, but if you don't mind a lot of that stuff it's really funny and pretty true to the high school setting (having just come out of it). The theater was laughing the whole time.

I'm definitely looking forward to paying $7.50 to see it again!
