i know this was posted before but i couldnt find it for the life of me.

but anywho.sometimes when i die and i respawn next wave i dont have weapons, i cant pick up weapons and i cant see the monsters. it doesnt happen alot but it usually happens on wave 14 and continues until the end of wave 16.

DragonBladeMedic=Medic Master(level 56)
PyroDragon=Adr Master(level 23)
BerserkerDragon=Weapon Master(level 9)
DragonInsanity=Engineer Master(level 31)

this has happened to me a few times as of late... I usually wait to see if my weapons will slowly appear, or sometimes I'll just re-connect. I'm not sure why it does that, but re-connecting will solve the problem for the most part.

I've had this too. On waves 14, 15, and 16 my weapons disappear or if I use a MWM on a weapon it disappears. For me this goes on for about a week then POOF! I'm OK again. (during the week I cleared cache, disconnected and reconnected, reinstalled game, cleaned my DSL house filter, defragmented HD, checked for spyware and viruses, nothing helped, although I have a very nice running machine now )

that is so true, and absolutley a BS answer...



reconnect on last wave when you're the only person on a server, let's see how that works out... I have this issue too... I'm hoping it's been fixed somewhere... any word would be appreciated

I really don't know why everyone thinks this is ping related... it's a coding issue... it can be reproduced at will on my server now... just die, and pray the bots survive a wave... when you come back, you'll be lucky to have standard weapons (translocator, shield gun, assault rifle), but I guarantee you won't be able to pick up any weapons...

die again, and you'll be lucky if you spawn back with anything...

this is in my Insane RPG Invasion mode (default mode, actually)...

Tomorrow, I'll be trouble shooting it by removing any mods that have to do with inventory other than RPG and attempting replicating the issue... if I find a conflict, I'll let you know, but I remember trying this before, and it failed... i've removed Spider Steroids, Transpider, Vacuum Combo, sentinel 24's previously, and nothing worked...

I think this has something to do with items/abilities that are generated on a character when he's spawned.... this also seems to occur more often on Monster Master's, although I'll be bouncing back and forth to test everything... hope I can nail it down can't guarantee I can fix it though, I'm not used to the UT coding

ah yes... one last troubleshooting step... I'll be eliminating the PING factor to put an end to this B/S "it's a lag issue"... NO... it's NOT a LAG issue...

my server is a full installed retail version that's setup manually, and whom's interface is only touched to simplify some of the editting (like monster manager)...

I'll load it up, load all the mutator's like I'm going to host a game, but i'll do it all in INSTANT ACTION... bet you fifty bucks i can still reproduce it >

Thought it would be net speed whether attributed to the actual actually speed or the reuter...

Btw would you mind sticking that really looooong code thing into a code box....
