I was thinking what if the medic class could give to partners armor shield bonus??????

that would be nice !!!!

If we can heal why we cant give big packs of shield??????

But this new addition will have it restriccions.

To buy it u will need all the levels of healing
U will need all the levels of exp of healing
and to buy the first level u need to be level 60,to buy level 2 u need to be level 70 and for the last level of this skill ( lvl 3 ) u need to be level 90.

Level 1: you can give to partners 50 shield

Level 2: you can give to partners 100 shield

Level 3:y ou can give to partners 150 shield

That would be nice beacuse the medic class will work hard for getting this skills, this abilities are really a GOOD GIFT.

The medic class will really be complete, they can heal, they can give u shield for protection and they can resucite players ( the new Druid skill coming soon )

What u think?????

It's been suggested for Adren Masters in other threads.

Also, since Shield is just another set of Health with some fancy effectiveness-equals-how-much-is-left stuff, the +150 bonus to Medics' healing capabilities nulls out the need for Shield Packs. I always make sure to factor in the whole Shields-are-another-health thing whenever people suggest stuff like this, so don't feel isolated. Good idea though.

While this would be cool. I would rather see a mechanic class.

also. I noticed that some people already kind of do this sort of thing: what you do is, between waves, you swithch to your luck weapon, there is almost always at least one in someones inventory, and group near the medics, between waves. I have been able to give out up to 10 shield pack 50s using this method with a lucky+7 and it does not matter how effective the weapon is otherwise unless its one you use ALOT in combat and need to swithc the magic bonus on.

It would be real cool if you got experiance for others picking up what your lucky generated tho....

Off-topic, but Grizzled, what's it like playing with an Athlon X2? I'm still on an Athlon 64 3200+, wonder if I should upgrade soon...

I don' know what the difference is between our machines.
But you could find out by going to http://www.anandtech.com

I can tell you that the difference between this computer and my last is insane!

Just for referance my last computer was a P3 700 overclockd to 1515. fsb of 134 with 756 MB of ram and a G-force 4200 TI all riding on an ASUS P7N8 board I had and upgraded that computer over about 5 years... until it reached
the limit of its feasable upgrade power for the buck.

now, I load a level of UT and have a good 10 seconds before anyone else is in the game, of course the match does not start until there are enough players, but it lets me determine where I am and where the closest pick ups are. I can get first blood when I want to about 30% of the time now.

Running dual graphics cards gives games awsome frame rates compared to what I used to run, even the newer games. you should see HDR on counterstrike.

as for other aplicatons, I accidently opoened 6 versions of a program and dident notice until I closed the one I was working in. Multitasking is so easy. and boot up takes 9 seconds.

Its the first computer I did not assemble myself, but I have been very pleased

I've got one as well. AMD will be releasing different versions of their processors soon, and there will be new motherboards for them, in order to take advantage of DDR2. However, I've seen some reports (out of Tom's Hardware, I think) that show that early benchmarks show no appreciable difference between the AM2 spec and the spec currently in use (939). However, there is the promise of faster DDR2 RAM around June, when the AM2 processors are due to hit the shelves.

I'd say wait until August or so. Of course, in August, I'll probably be saying "Wait until Q1 '07."

In comparison, I was using an AMD K7 700 w/Rage Pro 128 before this box. Didn't even try to run UT2004 on it.

Um, on the off-topic subject, an Athlon 64 3600+ is way faster than you need :\. I have an Athlon XP 2400+ and it works perfectly. Worry about a good processor when you run a dedicated 32-slot Invasion RPG server.
