I've been hearing discussion about a possible reduction of the max bonus on flaks. The main point I've been hearing is that a flak 5 and a triple damage seems to be too powerful.

I would imagine a reasonable point of opposition to this would be the fact that once a level 200+ player is left with no teammates in a wave, it can be really difficult for him/her to kill something. Higher damage weapons can allow a player to better handle such situations.

I think I'll bring up an interesting idea for a compromise. All weapons in their normal (non-magic) bonuses would max out at +3. A new skill would be added to allow higher level players to gain more damage bonus. It would go something like this:
flat rate cost of points - 35 points per level purchased
2 percent damage bonus per level
max level of 30
first level req. level 150
second req. level 175
third req. level 200
fourth req. level 225
fifth req. level 250
open gain after 250

This would allow an extra 150 levels of gain with an incentive to continue to play. It would max out at 60 percent extra damage. To keep things fair it could also be nullified by the use of a triple damage.

Then when DD reaches level 500 (I'd say 6 months) we could find a new skill to add to keep him playing (like perhaps polymorph where we temporarily turn titans into invulnerable but helpless nali cows).

Ahh I was wondering where the discussion was hiding.

Something related to DruidRPG in the DruidRPG section. Who would have thought?

Thanks for pointing it out.
