I'm thinking about changing the Freezing weapon to simply slow the opponent way down instead of stopping them all together.

Whatcha all think about that?

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Uhhhh if you do then fool around with null ent a bit cause It doesn't seem to faze titans and the delay is a bit short...

Well titans dont move very fast, so stopping them doesn't cause much of a big deal, although if you get it on a minigun it sure holds them in place good.

to be honest, i've never seen null entropy do anything to any monsters i use it on. It doesn't even affect me when i do self damage.

I dont think you have to do that Dru, after all the monsters can still shoot you when they're frozen. But... if you want to allow the frozen monsters to fall to the ground instead of being stuck in the air, that would be cool too.

I like having a freezing flak and self damaging myself and flying over a ledge and freezing in mid air. it's amusing. don't make us fall to the ground

I like freezing the way it is, personally.

I would like null entropy to be, I dunno, more...whatever it is. Like I know what it does in theory but I've never seen it actually _do_ much of anything.

perhaps longer than .01 seconds or whatever its "stop" time is?

The only change that should be done (imo) to freezing is to make it work properly against Warlords.

Otherwise I think it's fine the way it is.

Ok the change is official. Freezing makes you move really really slow in the air, on the land, or by sea. The bigger the modifier on the gun, the slower you move. It no longer restricts falling.

The change on Null Entropy is now more pronounced, and it restricts falling. Sign on the server and give it a go!

shouldnt null entry stop the monster from shooting as well as moving?

Superior tactics will prevail, and ownage shall ensue.

i notice also that the null entropy minigun didnt do squat. but when i have a flack entopy and hit myself i pretty stop all the time. i had a bio entropy and the only time i saw it null anything is if it survived a full blast from mouse button 2. and when it happens it actually says on the screen "null entropy". but i've seen it only happen twice so far. i'm thinking that the null attribute is set on a percentage that is way too low.

It laregly depends on the modifier number.

If you have a minigun of Null +6 you can hang monsters in the air indefinitely. If you have a Null +1 weapon its almost impossible to see if its doing anything at all.

and you can only null entropy yourself or monsters so you wont notice it very often unless you hit yourself a lot.
