Heyas all,

Dont ya just hate it when you have under 50 health and even a poopy diaper slug can end your run of Holy "C" kills, and as you are a giving it the big "Run Forrest! RUN!" reenactment, some NOOB gets in ya way, and those last few warlord missiles you have skillfully been avoiding catch up to you 2 feet from a health keg .As you find yourself crushing your mouse with tramendous pressure, and smashing ya fist against the wall, You begin to wish that NOOB was'nt there. Well someone told me about a mutator that stopped players from colliding with each other YAY!. Just wondering what you peeps think about this

Something like that would be wonderfull. I get so embarased when I deliberately dodge out of someone's way, only to have them dodge in the same direction and run smack into me.

Directional signals would work as well

xD yeah, turn signals. That'd be great. But yes, nulling player collision would not make a bad add-on.

LOL Poor Ooo... I hear what you're saying tho. What gets me is when you are fighting a warlord and someone comes to "help" or runs past you and YOU end up getting hit because they may not know that if you are standing still shooting at the warlord, thier rockets don't hit you! Then you have no choice but to move, run or in my case most of the time, die.

I've never had that problem since I always outlive them anyway...

And on the rare occasions that something similar happens I don't really get bothered by it...actually, I don't really care at all. I just say to myself "oh well..." and move on and occasionally laugh at what happend....maybe that's just me?

i think part of the challenge is working around other players and map objects.

It doesn't matter much to me either way. It may enhance the game slightly - but the time & energy could be better spent elsewhere.

I made a mutator that does that... I mean it allows players to walk through other players...

I've never had that happen, but it doesn't seem like a big deal. All of us were 'noobs' at one time or another. I remember getting in everyone's way. I agree with Solver that time and energy could be better spent elsewhere.

Besides, think of it as extra practice. Dogding noobs will help you dodge warlord missiles when the need arises. No?

Sorry, that wasn't a noob. That was probably me.

In my opinnion, It's unlikely. I'd really prefer when 20 people are on that players vote for larger maps, as I'm deeply concerned that such a modification would result in more votes for the 1-on-1 maps...

Controbutors, if you''ve got a strong opinnion about this one, please bring it up in the contributors forum.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Some people like little maps (Like me), others like big maps. Its just a question of opinion.
I dont think people choose the size of the map depending on how much people are on the server but with what kind of maps they have more fun in. (or are more comfortable with).

Oh ok , so you have'nt played on DM-Oceanic and many other small DM maps that are meant for 2 - 4 players before , when the server has around 21 players on. Not even highly skilled players could avoid that constant bumping, The annoying part is not players getting in your way or you in there's, as that can't be helped, but the view shaking caused by players running behind you, or bumping into each other is.

Getting my triple if you are lucky enough wouldn't be very much use to you 320, as it's extremely rare that I would be out until nearing the end of wave 16. so POOPIE DIAPERS write back atcha
