This fixes some issues where you could drop a Medic weapon. That was bad on a number of levels, as the weapon would be in an odd state, and could crash you when you died or when the owner respawned.

This also fixes some issues where if you summoned a pet, you obtained a new portion of your HUD, but if you died, the HUD stuck around and could cause crashes.

Let me know about new crashes here

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Looks like creating a second medic weapon is still crashing people. In the meantime just create one and stick with it.

I believe there's also something amiss with dying with a medic gun and it crashing you.

Also, if you're a monster master, it looks like something is still amiss with just dying in general. If anyone can fingure out the magic pattern I'd appreciate it

This patch should protect the Weapons and Adrenaline Masters from these crashes though. If you do crash as one of these classes I'd like to know if you summoned a Monster using the Monster Summon Charm at any point during the game. Of course, logs are always helpful.

Catch ya later,

Dru

Seems like every time I die with a medic weapon I crash now. But, if I don't have a medic gun yet, then I just die and respawn without problems.

You made a medic weapon as a Monster Master, correct?

Ok, it seems fairly clear that if you have a medic weapon, you'll crash when you die.

It also seems that if you "self damage" to heal with a medic weapon, you crash.

Okay Druid, while you've put up DruidRPG186, you haven't started a new thread, so I'll post my comment here.

Personally, I've TRIED to find bugs this time, but I've failed. Everything looks great, seems to be working right, and I haven't crashed since the new rpg. Of course, I don't do much monster summoning yet, so there may be some there.

I do have a question though, the first night you started the medic class, I was able to get XP by healing my summoned mosnters. I'm not sure if this WAS a bug, or is NOW a bug. I just noticed a discrepency (although, it COULD be that my low summoning level can't produce monsters strong enough to take damage and survive in order to allow me to heal, Nali's cow's don't have too many health points ya know).

The ONLY thing I can find is basically a nit picky thing. It's concerning the HUD that I mentioned in game. The Monster points bar is still in the same space as "Press L for stat info" or whatever it is. It's still readable, so no biggie. Like I said, I'm actually digging for things wrong and am coming up short. Other than that it's flawless!

Unrelated, I did see a few of the skills in the in game menu not list their prices for each level. They're on the main site so no big worry, I just noticed that going through the menu's today. (I think Iron Legs and Quickfoot were a couple, can't remember for sure).

Shan, Driud, you guys are great. The game's awesome, and you guys deserve a six pack (or twelve).

Thanks!

The skills that dont list their point values for all the individual levels are the skills that came with the original RPG package that Druid has not modified at all to work with his classes. Hence Vampirism, an original skill but heavily modified to fit the 3 class schema, so that one does show point values while iron legs and quickfoot are not modified at all so they dont show the numbers.

I haven't seen this since I'm not a monster master, but I am guessing that your resolution is messing this up. What resolution are you running at? It's probably different from dru's
