Bored again, so I took a couple of pictures out in the pond. Hard to get pictures of fish in the pond. Anyway, here are a couple showing one of the koi, some mosquito fish, and one of the fantails.

Cute cat Miss Kitty. I like they eye color with the white fur on Muggy. The two pictures are the same, though, so there is no picture of Felix.

Hello:

Her is the link to see Felix. Felix is a Feline AIDS Cat and Muggy has had many serious health problems such as Thyroid disease, IBS and now the gall bladder. Last year she had a gall bladder operation and had a feeding tube for 2 months. She was in the hospital for 2 weeks

I sell on eBay under the name of BIGNOSCAT to pay for vet bills. Spent my life savings in 4 years on 3 cats and it was worth it. I could have bought a home in the Prairie Provinces for less but my cats are more important. My Kitty died 2 years ago.

This weekend Muggy has to have a fang pulled and will spend 2 days in the hospital. She goes on IV fluids so to protect her kidneys. Muggy went back on gall bladder medicine this week a liver enzyme was elevated. I pray that the gall bladder heals.

If anyone ever needs any advice on cat illnesses I have lots of experience so please ask.

hi chameleon and everyone else! your pets are so cute :} i love the chameleons and bearded dragon, they look very sweet. i am sorry to hear about the deaths, chameleon..i too know how hard it is to take care of chameleons. they require very very special care, both in their handling and environment; proper lighting, UV, humidity, and proper interaction methods since they are prone to stress easily. i had a panther chameleon for a year until she died...i loved her so much and i even so far went to have an autopsy done because i had no idea why she stopped eating and passed. i knew i took best care of her and couldn't understand why.. it turns out that moving her into the room i had my iguana and water dragon in view stressed her out badly :{

well...to other things. i too have been raised in a household where its been a zoo! all my life there have been animals of kinds around as member of the family. innumerable dogs, cats, birds, rodents etc have been in my company and i have cared for them all, even if they weren't my personal pet companions. currently here at my parent's house i am staying at for the summer since they need my help we have a parrot, 2 cockatiels, 2 rats, a flamepoint and a bluepoint himalayan cat, an outside cat, large cichlid fish, large pleco in the tank with the cichlid, 2 bulldogs, and my iguana.

i am including pics and movies too! i am only including the media i have on my comp currently, so i don?t have pics of them all to show. the first is our yellow-naped amazon parrot rico. he is slightly temperamental with certain people, but because i sing and talk to him like my mom does, he loves me :} he likes to have his feathers ruffled around his head, its so cute.

next is one of our himalayan cats. this is cody..big white fluffy flamepoint himalayan cat. of all the felines i know, he purrs the loudest and most easily o_o if you pet him on your lap, its like a big rumbly purrfest! his companion he hangs with is indy, a bluepoint himilayan cat that looks more like a stereotypical himilayan than cody is. indy is evasive and weird..sometimes nice, other time runs away as you reach to pet him. the other kitty is pita, a black and white regular cat who spends most time outside. he's like a dog..he comes to you when called, will lick at you with the rough tongue, and is just so sweet...for being an avid outside hunter that kills anything v_v no pics of indy of pita scanned in currently. i can take pics if someone wishes of any animals i don?t have captured on digital media.

we have two cockatiels, one was found outside during a storm that we brought in, and he whistles a lot and likes sticking his head in his bell and chirping. his name is stormy, due to finding him in such a manner..noone has claimed him from the ads we put around the area and in paper. the other cockatiel is buddy, a rather skitsy birdy that doesn't seem to like attention or handling like stormy does. i have no pics of them on the comp :/

we have two rats, nibbles and whisky. rats, i have found, are very very smart, interactive and sweet. i like them and its fun to play around with them at times, even if they pee or poo often on you <_< again, no pics on the comp of these guys.

the cichlid fish and pleco are our freshwater fish. the cichlid's name is finny and the pleco is spiney. i have no pics of these guys either. the pleco is dull, so nothing to say about him. finny, though, is so cute for a fish and he has such a distinct personality. he enjoys being handfed and likes to approach the tank walls when people are nearby. he even likes being stroked along his sides with a glass floating thermometer. sadly, he is old and lately is experiencing many problems with health. he has had fungi, ick, and so many other things this past year. currently now he has a disorder called hole-in-the-head which forms pits on their head. i fear he doesn't have long with us :{

next is our bulldogs, sophie and tubby. i have couple pics of sophie i merged into one you can see. she is so adoreable..she's been my favorite doggy of all of ours so far. of the 20 or so dog species we we have had, i have found bulldogs to be the most human-like...they are rather smart and they act like little children. tubby is not technically our dog, she's my older sister's, but when my mom watches my nieces here 5 days a week, tubby is here and so is considered part of our family's pets since she is here so much.

lastly i will tell you about my pets i have cared for. i told you about my female panther chameleon, cammy...i miss her...in case anyone is interested in knowing, the chameleons you see that are colorful and bright are males. females are rather dull-colored and non-ornamented, but are no less special. i love chameleon paws..i enjoyed having her cling to my finger...i don?t have a pic of her on the comp, but i do have photos of her around somewhere.

i had a water dragon named walter. i too loved him so much...you can see him in that lizard at the beach pic with me. i took him to the beach his last year, 2 years ago. yes, thats me in the pic, making a funny face with sun in my eyes as walter let me lay him on his back to look cute. when i started to need to force feed him, I knew he wasn't going to last long. he lived 12 years, much longer than the expected water dragon age...so i have no regrets in my care for him. chameleon, if you are interested, water dragons are a lot like bearded dragons in their extremely docile temperament. walter would sit on my shoulder or lap for hours and just hang there absorbing my body heat and watching things around..i think he liked the video games i played :} bad thing about water dragons is that they like insects for food, and the king mealworms he preferred i was allergic too...but i did anything i could for him until his last day..

lastly is my current child, kirby. he's 5 feet long, mostly tail of course. he's doing well at his age of 13.5 and is rather tame. he's whipped me only a couple times in these years, at those moments he gets worked up in breeding season. he's bitten me once, only when i was hand feeding him some romaine lettuce and was talking to my friend with head turned. they have bad depth perception, so he got my finger as he was nipping away at the leaf. he does do his dewlap display at me sometimes, but he knows i am his friend and that?s his only way to tell me he only wants a little attention than me doddling all over him at that moment. he likes to explore and go outside on his leash...and he thinks i am his servant. lol, he will descend his cage and come to me when i have dinner and try to eat from my plate like its his food too! sometimes i let him if its not a meaty meal. you should not feed iguanas meat, they are strictly herbivores. in the one pic his coloration looks dull, but if your notice he is about to molt. normally he looks tan in spots and bright orange in others. this is interesting since when i bought him as a near hatchling, he was neon green and blue. in breeding season he is almost all bright orange. iguanas change colors too depending on temperature and UVA light. outside in the sun he gets really dark because of this. i love kirby..he's interactive and i have spent much time with him. i hope i can have him over the expected age of 15. the oldest iguana recorded was 22 i believe.

i am including links to two videos. i can only keep these online for a few months, so if anyone clicks these after this time and gets nothing, that?s why. As a warning, they are large files of 20-35 megs megs, but you may find them interesting. It might be best to right click the link and then select the ?save to? so you can see download progress. the first is rico doing his talky noise-making, then the next is just kirby eating.

thank you for sharing things about your pets, chameleon and everyone. i can't imagine life without one or two animal companions around :}

Sorry to hear about both cats, but that shows a lot that you are willing to stick with them and help them out. I am the same with my animals. People would think I was wierd when I would take a reptile in to a vet, but hey, animals feel pain, too. On a side note, it isn't easy to give reptiles medication. I hope both Felix and Muggy do well. I think cats are awesome! I actually sleep better when my cat is sleeping on my bed. I wake up at night and will see her curled up in a ball on my legs. She is funny at night, especially during the winter. If she gets cold, she will come up very gently and slowly to where my head is and softly paw at my covers to pull them down. She will then stick her nose underneath and crawl on under. My dog will sleep in different rooms each night depending on the temperature inside, but she is your shadow during the day. She hates being alone. Bottom line, I think they deserve everything we can give them and I think it is great what you are doing for Felix and Muggy.

Hey Draegohn, Rico is holarious. If I had the money, I would like to get an African Grey. Those types of birds require a ton of attention, so that is the main reason I have never gotten one. I'm just not home enough to give them the attention they require. They are funny, though. Tons of personality. All the other pictures look good, too.

During school, I had Cichlids, also. Specifically, I had the Tanganyika Cichlids. They were really cool fish. Lots of color and personality like the one you have. Especially, the Frontosa I had. He was pretty shy compared to the other ones, but really cool looking. My friend had a female and I had the male, but we never got them together. I wanted to and see if we could get anything to happen. We had another tank that we could of set up, but never did. Mine had that big hump on his forehead. I've also had a couple of salt water tanks in the past. Those are nice to have as long as they are set up properly.

Sounds like you have a zoo going on at your place, too. I swear, at least in the past when I had more animals here, I should of started charging admission to people that walked in the door.

He's still cute. I love his ears.

This is such a great post. I love reading about all of your animals. I'm definitely a cat person.

My first cat, Kitt, was a black cat with green eyes. He had such a deep purr, but such a high pitched baby meow. My mom got him 2 years before I was born and we had to put him down when I was in 9th grade. I held him on my lap up to the vet's office...that was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. As he got older he developed diabetes and went into seizures a couple times. Since we had to give him insulin shots twice a day (and after we had a bad experience boarding him for a vacation) we started taking him camping with us. He loved it. And he liked olives. Hehehe..

Cleo is a torty...we found her in the woodshed behind our old house. She's a dinky little thing, but very fiesty. She tried to take on the giant poodle across the street a few years ago....probably would have won too. We think she was probably abandoned; the poor thing was so scrawny. When we took her to the vet her teeth were rotten. She currently has 8 teeth...I actually got a discount last time I took her in for a cleaning...and don't feel bad, that doesn't slow her down at all. She follows me everywhere; she got into the habit of following people into the bathroom. She likes to jump up on the open toilet and watch it flush. When I shower, I'll open up the towel cupboard and she lies on the towels until I'm finished.

Peaches is Cleo's son. Twice as big, a tabby with blue eyes. He's got a very squeaky purr....like a dove. He's only too happy to share a blanket with anyone. We think he might have arthritis since he limps in the winter. He also has allergies. During the summer, he pulls out all his fur in one spot on his back (leaving it in spots all over the house) and is bald for a while. Miss Kitty...any ideas? He's a sweet boy....but if you aren't giving him the attention he thinks he deserves, you know it. When he was still a kitten, a cat from down the street came and we think carried him off thinking he was her's. For show and tell, I drew a picture of him and told the story. Long story short, one of the girls said she had him and I got him that day and carried him home. My mom was so happy.

When I get my own place, I was a Great Dane. A lot of you probably know that already. They're awesome dogs. I was at a dog show in Montana this last week and a lady let me hold her Danes while she had another one in the ring. I was in heaven. The older boy was leaning on me, if I had straightened up I would have fallen over. It was so cool!!

Ok, here they are! Kitt is in the top corner, Cleo is next to him and Peach is
under him.

The next photo is of Toby; the Great Dane I played with in Las Vegas.
He almost ripped Terri's arm off. Mine will look just like that one
day, only I probably won't have the ears cropped.

Ok boingo, how did you get pics of 2 of my cats? I have one, named merlin, who is a dead ringer for kitt.And his sister, cocoa, is the same as cleo except she looks like she is probably smaller. Peach looks exactly like my mother in laws cat.

I have pics of all my cats here, with the exception of cocoa, she's a ghost cat, runs like hell if i bring out the camera. I'll see if i can get one of her soon and post it up.
