I totally screwed up my math because I didn't read all the info in his post.

I the mod was set up to just simply split players into 2 teams, the team that scored the most points would get bragging rights and the a majority of the bonus points at end of match and the losing team just get a fraction of the points.
Now the only thing is to figure out if there would be a quick team picking session befor each map or even better, the server would randomly pick players. making the combined levels on each team egual as possible, even if the teams are unbalanced. firepower and abilities would be equal.
It might be DD and Capt and Shantara and a five newbies for example
180 + 150 + 130 + 50 = 510

Against Fro, Mystic, Lord, Bykuru, Chloe, Vegas, Poison, CyberX, Biceps, Tarl, and 2 newbies the combos are endless. players that are in the 60's 70's 80's totaling around 510 even though it would be 8 to 12 the level would be close.

and it would have to have its own game type title like vehicle and regular call it team invasion. It could be fun to see the server make dream teams and who knows we could see underdogs win too. Ive seen low level players out score high levelers, it could be a tie! or an embaressing spanking or an embaressing upset

so basiculy your taking Invasion and turning it into team death match?

I think team invasion would work best if the two teams could not hurt each other at all and would have to focus on killing the monsters.

Of course you still might have balance issues if a bunch of high levels are on one team and kill more monsters faster than the other team.

if you read the post in "other mods" titled 'more monsters wanted', maybe we could implement a wave 17 where we all kill each other and use that formula to determine the bonus points each player gets. (DD would be excluded, lol jk)

Hold on...I just thought of something. What about super weapons? If on the last wave (wave 17) all the high level guys/ gals had super weapons then I think that it would be a very, very short wave. Maybe 30 seconds, and 10-15 nukes later....

why not just give them full armor and Berserk or damage amp

or take away all weapons but one random weapon and give it to everyone, with no super weapons. just think, wave 17 with everybody using sheild guns. lol
