A man was found murdered on Sunday morning.
His wife immediately called the police.
The police questioned the wife and staff and got these alibis:
The Wife said she was sleeping.
The Cook was cooking breakfast.
The Gardener was picking vegetables.
The Maid was getting the mail.
The Butler was cleaning the closet.

The police instantly arrested the murdered. Who did it and how did they know?

The Maid is the culprit as there is no mail on Sunday.

A man is 100 meters due South of a bear. He walks

This one had me stumped for a long time, but then the
voice of my old Geography teacher resonated through
my head...

The answer is that the bear is white as it's a Polar Bear.
He's in the North Pole as that's the only area of the
world in which all directions are South. If you look
at the directions logistically, there's no way he could
have hit the bear if he'd followed the true compass
positions given in the question.

Howzat!

Nicely done ess-jay thats the right answers.

Heres a couple more for yah.

Always invisible, yet never out of sight. What are they?

I have a neck, but no head. I have two arms, but no
hands. What am I?

A beggar's brother died, but the man who died had no
brother.
How could this be?

A 6-foot tall Magician had a water glass and was holding
the glass above his head. He let it drop to the carpet
without spilling a single drop of water.
How could he manage to drop the glass from a height
of six feet and not spill a drop of water?'

See yah in game

i was thinking red from blood, but I gave your answer
much thought and I think you are right. he switched from
100 meters to 100 yards which had me thinking in the
wrong circle too.

The beggar is a chick, and "a water glass", probably had no
water in it as "water glass" would be what the glass is called,
the way the riddle is worded.

Not sure about the first two.

Aye well done cloud. Right on both of them. And yah the
first 2 can be tricky. If your at all like me I can hear a new
riddle and work on it for a day or two sometimes till I get
the awnswer.

Plus the first one is the hardest riddle I ever did. It took me
about a week to get it, but I know people who got it right
away, I guess it depends on how yah look at it.

Interestingly enough, I avoid every single thing you mentioned.
I like to acually laugh at a comic because it is funny, so I read Penny-Arcade..... and VG cats.

I was sent this video by a friend and thought you all
should enjoy it. It may take a little longer to download,
it's high quality so that's why but it's worth it! http://www.iwasdrunk.com/video/bear.mpg

Once again, this one took me a long time. The answer is: the letters I and S.

You have to approach it in the same way as a crossword puzzle from a broadsheet like The Daily Telegraph. If you read the first two words as 'Always IN visible' it starts to become clear.

A sneaky little riddle this one as you don't really think of clothing as an answer. The answer is: a shirt

"Round I am, yet flat as a board, omen to the Wolfen lord."

What has a tongue, but never talks. A heel, but never walks.

"Who makes it, has no need of it.
Who buys it, has no use for it.
Who uses it can neither see nor feel it."

"I know a word of letters three.
Add two, and fewer there will be."

What is greater than god, more evil than the devil, the poor have it, the rich need it, and if you eat it you will eventually die?

And finally, my own riddle. Well, poem really, but it'll be amusing to see who can decipher it.

"Dagger frost and flaming chill,
Freezing burn and ever still,
Endless time and endless quest,
Endless run toward the chest,

Endless riches and lives are promised,
Eternal strives and rise of fists,
Crusades partaked and battles won,
For a treasure that is long gone,

Before the story the quest was told,
For a chalice, a grail of old,
Now all stories, the curtain is lift,
Now the truth, from Him a gift,

Christ's drink from here was drought,
We know this cup has long been sought,
After all this, humanity has mended,
For all the wars have long since ended."

Hint: It is ABOUT an object. Further hints may be given if you all are stumped.

(I really find it to be easy. Of course, I wrote it, so I should, but it doesn't look that hard. Oh, and there's another verse, but it has nothing to do with my riddle, so I left it out.)
