btw....another concern.....it seems dat there's no vehicle lock on the RPG ONS.......since there's this one time wherein i built a node and sum enemy just stole the tank dat just spawned for our node and i had to kill him........basically, the tank should only be accesible to my teammates since our team controls dat node but it seems dat all vehicles are accesible to all players regardless of who controls the node.......this would be pretty bad in primeval since most ppl try to build the middle node just so dat their team could control the only tank in that map.......

Whoops. I'll fix it tomorrow.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

It's really not a matter of aim. The root of the problem is the additional damage reduction medics have. I'll be long dead before the triple mini has killed the opponent.

IMO the AM is at a serious disadvantage in this gametype without this artifact...

hmmm......point taken......i'm just wondering tho if the advance damage reduction is dat potent when it comes to reducing damage? Dat most players would die b4 they can even kill the medic opponent? The thing is, unless ur up close to a medic, they would not be able to outheal ur damage and damage u at the same time........the only threat i see them is if they make infinite minis and coupled with their damage reduction, they would outlast everybody in an endurance mini-spam match......a WM with a decent vamp might make a contest out of it tho.....meh......i guess we need more time to test stuff like this.

Just so everyone realizes - you're not getting a lot of experience here. Kill streaks probably and a little on the wins, but from what I understand, you're getting only one xp for each kill.

If you're looking to have fun killing off other players, fine ...

If you're looking to level up and get lots of XP, stick to voting on Invasion games.

Actually... if the RPG code hasn't changed too much concerning XP in PvP, you should get 1 XP if you kill someone at or lower than you in level... but if you kill someone who is a higher level, you might get a hefty amount of XP, especially if you are level, say, 20, and you kill fodder (that ought to net you at least 100 XP).

But, on the whole, bot's right - not much XP in PvP compared to INV.

Not that there should be ... the opportunities for abuse are quite obvious. Even for killing someone higher level, I don't think you should get more than the 1 XP - you could easily sponge off of someone by getting them to not attack you back.

I think most fair thinking individuals would say that more than 1 XP per death in PvP is a bad, bad, bad idea (I mean, the other day we had a guy come on and ask us to "loan" him levels, and that he wanted to know about faster ways to level up).

I changed it. I have it up the divisor on level to exp by 100. If you're able to get more than 1xp from a kill I'd be quite surprised.

Well, 2 if you're brand spanking new and somehow manage to kill FodderFigure.

Could've sworn my level 62 LA character got around 20 xp for killing Fro's MD.

And also apparently my lightning rod took his ghost down to around 6000 health... lol.

All fun and games, very fun indeed even though we lost.
