Overally, the medics do a great job. What this class really needs, I think, are:

1) a healer scoreboard
2) a healer radar
3) healer awareness

Who knows if that stuff is possible.

Some tips for healers from a non-healer. I hope nobody gets offended!

When healing players that use the Avril, best to aim at his/her feet. Player fire can shoot down the avril, usually causing it to blow up in the LW player's face causing a lot of dmg that you won't get exp for healing. Obviously, things are happening like crazy and it's not always possible.

When in healing mode, the healer should endeavor to be like the ref in a basketball game. Ideally, the player shouldn't be impeded by the healer. You might get in the player's face so they know they are being healed but then quickly circle to the side or back so that they can continue shooting.

Also, I think it's important for a healer to say where he/she is at the end of each wave, and probably be consistent about your location from wave to wave (a centrally located spot). Keybinds or verbal announcements are helpful.

Next question - does anyone know where you can find the info on what monsters you can summon at what LM level, how many MPs they cost, and the Adren expense?

I lost track of the monsters I get per each loaded monster lvl except for the last few lvls of LM, but I could provide the whole list of monsters available and their adrenaline cost. Would that help somewhat?

A side note, nalis were removed recently for fixing so it's not included there. But it's costs were:

IMO, the last few levels of LM should be kept hidden so that there's something to look forward to when getting LM lvls other than to just summon it. That's just my humble opinion though, so don't mind me.

Also something I want to ask. A little while before the removal of some monsters (eg. Nali Cows, Nali Rabbits) I had bought LM lvl 12. The only monster I got from it was Giant Gasbag, but it was removed afterward. So my question is, now that the Giant Gasbag is removed, is there still a monster for LM lvl 12?

At least now I know what I can get by leveling up my abilities. But, are some better than others for certain maps? Really, I'm just curious about it.
Plus, 320 is right. Medics/summoners could use some other modifications to it. Most things that you can get are for Weapons or adrenalin (I know I spelled it wrong) masters, or are there others things that I haven't seen yet, since I am only level 27.

A lot the monsters have strengths and weaknesses that can all be compared. But yes, there are some maps where some monsters are suited better than others. The wave number also is something to consider.

hmmm.......i have a medic at level 43 and i think and i'm more of a battle medic when it comes to style of play.......basically wat i do is run/dodge/transloc around while killing monsters with rockets+triple (flak/link+triple for titan waves///minigun+triple for low-grav maps) and heal teamates that i come across.........the route dat i went with is maxing out Loaded medic then maxing out weapon speed then dmg bonus......even with no dmg reduction or health bonus i can usually run around kill monsters and survive all 16 waves with 1200exp or more so survival is not rly a problem for me........since i don't like monsters(they get in the way and they're not rly useful), i just maxed my exp healing to get more exp............then after that i think im gonna go with max health bonus, max dmg reduction, max advance damage reduction, quickfoot1,2 then ghost1,2,3........imo, regeneration is not really useful coz it heals little and its easy to always heal urself as a medic(unless u don't use spam weapons).....adren regen might be a bit useful but in early waves its easy enough to kill mercenaries, kralls and bugs with the shield gun to get 10adren.

Regen is good to have because it keeps you from healing yourself as much. If your not healing yourself as much, you can be doing other things, like healing teamates or killing monsters. There are more useful skills to buy though .

Also, if you find yourself dying from rocks alot, buy the new advanced damage reduction. I'm at lvl 3 and I'm surviving alot more rock hits.

Actually, maxing health and DR isn't so much of a priority than you might think. I think a little health helps out, but when I maxed it at about level 40, I didn't really notice much difference... except being able to run around without healing myself for a little longer. It helps, but it's not as important as a medic, I think.

I really wish I had maxed out experienced healing instead... except now, with my weapon speed, health, DB, and DR maxed, I can survive wave 16 on some maps... but I'd rather get more than 5 xp for healing someone fully with exp healing 2 than survive waves, because XP > survival in my mind. ... Unless surviving = more XP.

(Then again, I might be better off. At least I don't die a bunch. But I wish I got more XP from healing.)

Think about the math:

Damage Reduction (stat) maxed: 25%
Advanced Damage Reduction (skill) maxed: 40%

You're effectively taking well more than half of the damage you normally would (without either the stat or the skill), and not too far from half as much as anyone else (even if they had DR maxed).

Maxing ExpHealing was a priority after Loaded Medic for me.

In m experience, health bonus is not really dat needed........for me i usually run around with 250 health as a medic and the only time i need more health is when facing more than one warlord(I can't spam at their feet with rockets and outheal their damage output if there's more than 1)........but other than that i can survive all waves as long as I play smart.

hmm well not speaking form experience o fhaving it but rather by lacking it .. its important to have wep speed ..mine is only 9 and i cant tell you how much ive lost kills, healing, or just plain didnt keep some alive because my darn wep woulnt fire fast enough..im currently a 50 wiht a tiiny bit of summoning..(to 1 elite krall..) some dam bonus (onyl 20ish)...

ive also thinks its important if youve got experieced healing thatyou gotta get adren drip 1...yes it takes a while but its worth the helaing blasts..im only now maxing up my Exp healing...but wiht eery lvl of it i get the more healing blasts/ globes are helpful for both me and them..that and if you kepe ur artifact switched to helaing blast...and you ghost out of enemies...when you oand you cna blast ur self..quickly and get to a hidnign spot to heal ..or go around and shoot some stuff.....

also shield gunning is very good as a medic i find (that and knowing hidign spots which are helpful cus then you know where dyign chacaters are hding out to heal....)

also im sa d missed the time of medic inf demmer.s....that wuld besoo kool...cept on fall of maps...

heey i dunno if this the correct place to ask it but here ig o anyways:
Its about the Medic class...

recently whenever i use the healing blast artifact...the blast goes off like normal but it randomly seems to not work..as in im still at my original health and im standin right on top the blast..i dont know if this si suppoe to happen..(i doubt..)...but it can be annoying in those times when youve got 10 health and ur fleeing..o.0...

so yeah is this problem common ? intentional...or none of the above?
