But in the meantime weapon speed and damage bonus will still be necessary whichever route you take.

good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

Nice thing to know Titans will fire less when using LGun. Is the Shock in the same situation or no ?

The Shock Rifle does not seem to have the same effect on titans that a LG does.

But the sniper works just like the LG. Given its slightly higher rate of fire, it is actually just a bit better at this, especially if you make sure to hit them just before they go to throw. When you get out of sync with their throwing seems to be when they manage to lob a rock at you.

The downside of this is the sniper rifle does less damage.

Quite true (as I figured up in a separate post the exact numerical differences). But of course, if you are going hunting for a few nali trophies, this can be a good thing, as if you miss and hit them in the throat or torso as everything bounces around, you have a second chance.

The LG has 70 damage and Sniper has 60 damage, both have the same headshot damage of 140.
Also the LG does more vehicle damage. 59 compared to the snipers 38 damage.

So theres is not that much of a difference.

Curious, are you pulling these out of the code, or what? If so, what version?? When 2K4 first came out, I got a the strategy guide and it has tables of weapon damage in it, which matched what the original 2K4 source had right on.

Here was a guide I helped compile a long time ago, bushbomb the Dawga admin, made the table at the bottom of the page:

It comes down to your goals. If you want the headhunter bonus, the sniper is probably the way to go. In my opinion, by virtue of the fact the LG will take down monsters faster, you're onto your next target faster and getting more exp in the long run. You can kill a majority of the monsters in the first 4 waves with one shot, whereas the sniper requires a followup shot.

Does headshot works on all the monster. Like titans brute or skarj ?

indeed working on speed and then dmg bonus. till lv38 then start going for LW3 or someting else. Maxing dmg and speed first then will think about it.

Skeletons, Nali, Nali Fighters, and if you have any other monsters modeled after player skins.
