I laid in a casket one year in the front yard dressed as a vampire and screamed "Booga Booga" at the kids as they came up. This was back in my early years. I was surprised though, I got three dates out of it. Oddly enough, they were as strange as the circumstances we met under.

The missus was born on Halloween and the kids are finally old enough to not want to go trick or treating. I think I will finally get to take her out on her birthday this year. I will dress up as a pennyless bum and make her pay for everything.

If at first you don't friccasee, fry, fry a hen.

The casket deal is old around here. In the past 10 years, I think there has never failed to be at least one within less than 2 blocks from our place, and I know of at lest one year, we had several. And at least one of them is always the metal variety in which folks are really burried.

As for your wife having a bday on All Hallows Eve, I say COOL! My youngest granddaughter turns two this year on Oct 31. Yep, I have a granddaughter...my wife has two girls who are in their late 20s from a previous marriage, and when the first grandchild was born, I was lucky enough to get asked "Do you want them to call you Doug or Grandpa". I felt so lucky!

Me and a couple of friends usually go around scaring kids,

Army man, Ninja, Satan, and a Baseball Player from hell. Thats who we usually are.

My friend whose in Boyscouts gets smokebombs for a dollar each. We usually pitch in to buy 50 of em and then go around throwing them into groups of people.

Heres a story from last year:
We were walking along down the street, twas about 11 PM. A big group of kids and what looked like there mom were walking along across the street, my friend dared me to hit one of them so I got a smokebomb, lit it, and threw. Got it smackdab right in the middle of the group, it blew, the kids ran one way The mom ran the other. It was awesome, We also hit a few houses. The big ones mostly. My friend actually smoked one door one time, rang the bell. Guy came to the door with the bowl of candy, my friend grabbed it and ran LOL!. Halloween is awesome, I just wish I had the time and money to go out and make myself a really good costume.

Well, I would have been putting on the armour this year, along with my tunic, etc. and had my my greatsword, but my back is aching once again due to the car accident on Friday (I will start a thread elsewhere later), so I am dressing up as...me! Oh well...
