In a future release of druidsrpg both Monster Tongue and the summon charm will be rotated out (which is just a kind way of saying deleted) in favor of something more like a monster master where you can pick which monster to summon.

In the meantime, if you hate em, remove the charm and the skill from your UT2004RPG.ini
If you do monster master, is this going to be for everybody then? Or just players with loaded artifacts..

3rd class ability, like loaded weapons or loaded artifacts.
so it wil not be possible to have it along with any of those 2.

Hi Druid,

I hope you read my thread starter. It is just that it seems "normal" Monster summon charm is working instead of the enhanced version even though the lines are deleted from the ini file, oh well roll on Monster master!!

I may have mentioned but I am the poor soul who looks after Gameservers 3 Invasion servers (2 normal invasion, 1 Vehicle Invasion) and have found that Druids has been a very popular addition. I quoted the above when I set up the Vehicle Invasion with 163 and now all is well but I am now in the process of updating server 2 and whilst installation of the RPG went ok I am still getting the regular Monster Summon charm (there is no mention of the regular Monster Summon charm in the ini) instead of the Enhanced version which obviously is much better! Any ideas as to why this would be?

Are you sure it's the regular version?

When I removed the plain monster summon charm from my list of charms I made it look like the regular charm again. It may be that you have the enhanced charm, but that it just looks like a regular charm.

Beyond that, all I can think of is that it's in the UT2004RPG ini somewhere else, or that the server is using a different directory for it's inis...

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

It is indeed the ordinary one and what I did was to use your supplied RPG.ini file and just adjust stats and as you know there is no mention of the ordinary Monster Summon in your supplied ini, that is why I am so puzzled. The message recieved when picking the charm up is just Summon and not Enhanced Summon and it does not break upon use as it does in my other server set up. Will see if it fixes itself, the Gameservers servers are known to have their own will!!!

Is there any way to remove the monster charm from the loaded artifacts?
I tried removing the monster charm,.. but ended up with players complaining about the fact the odds were uneven / they felt distriminated about the fact only players who bought Loaded Artifact had charms

You would have to recompile DruidsRPG after modifying the code and renaming the package.
