Unlucky& Jinxed rants, post them here!

Hey guys, decided to make this sweet nice "Post your unlucky and jinxed UT04 moments here" thread; the rule is simple:
All of us have our bad moments in UT, so post them here, make your friends laugh recalling the day you cursed the heaven and hell altogether because of that little thing that happen or it didn't happen during a game

Here's my latest:
12/12/05: Got normal weapons and managed to get a wapon maker, when collected the 100 adrenaline used it on my flak gun and got a marvelous Lucky +1 flak gun, decided to try again, killed monsters and got again the 100 adrenaline and used the WM again and got a flak gun +1! maaaan, I'm like... "come on!" and this is using the same WM I got, it hasn't broken or anything, so again I get the 100 adrenaline use it on my flak again and guess what? a lucky flak +3... do you see a pattern here? keep in mind i survived like 9 or 11 stages only by sheer luck to get lucky weapons, but unlucky enough not to get something with bigger punch, this onei gonna stay in my head for a while.

oh and btw, after all this the WM was still in my inventory andI died by a nice volley of rockets from a warlord.

You realize that that happens every day to us junkies, worst is when you get the exact same weapon several times in a row.

I love it when I ghost, pass a titan while I ghost, the titan throws rocks at me, watch the rocks follow me, then spawn dead.

Or just ghosting next to a titan throwing rocks. That's why I have ultima, alittle payback.

Or when the invisible titan rock gets you.....

Or when all... and I mean ALL monsters in the map, (usually around stage 11, 14 and 16) go after you, no matter how close to anyone else or anywhere you run, they are after you and only you, like you have the money or something, even with 19 other players around, as if you insulted a nali and its pals want retribution.

Seriously, shot landing around you, queens firing from afar, volleys of missiles exploding around you and pieces of rock all around you plus add a few skarj's shooting left and right andin the middle of the horde a nali with a shield gun leading them...

When you die and look around , you still see like 20 different shots flying to where your body parts are.

Not to mention when time slows down as you helplessly watch one giant foot.

I have definately felt this pang before. The worst time was when I was trying to make a good flak, so I spent a whole map getting +1 and +2 protection and poison. It didn't matter what I did, so when wave 16 hit, I wound up with a +1 flak poison and NO other good weapons.

I think the worst gaming session I ever had was a few weeks ago. I played 6 or 7 maps and kept getting crap for weapons. Frustrated, a new map gets chosen that I do like and low and behold, I get a +10 Vorpal shock, +7 flack vampirism and a +4 or 5 vamp mini from the start. Also, I make a +10 vorpal lightening on the first try but no one else liked the map and they voted it off. I decided to call it a night. It is at these times that I despise Democracy.

To things i think are jinx....

1st
im running around and then i get like inf 4 link yeah

and then... i get sheilded

noooooooo!!!!!! i all ways get sheilded right when i get a good wep, i get sheild more times then i get killed by warlords..... and its just so much more anouying

2nd
your running around then its wave 14 suddanly.... dead ..... you've been squashed!!!!

i get squashed like 2 out of 5 wave 14's

Titan ground bouncing kills me more often than rocks. I've been knocked off sniper towers, high ledges, into acid pools, bottomless pits, and worst of all, other rocks. No wait, worst of all is when you have a powerful flak with triple damage on and they bounce you sideways into a wall as you get your shot off and then respawn with no weapons
