I've never read the Potter books, and don't plan on doing so for quite some time. However, I've been watching the Potter movies as they come out. My oldest brother, who makes much bigger and much more bucks than me, is supposed to be taking me and a few other people to see it on Sunday.

I hear the movie is good.

well I'll definately see it, probably on saturday. I hope its good, I mean the other three were good movies but if you compare it to the books, they're a little bit of a let down, its just hard fitting all that story into such a small time limit. So I hope this ones good like the book was!

Sounds like a deal. Can he take us too?

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

I agree. (Are people still saying 'concur'?) I was really let down with the third. In fact, I probably went off on a schpeel about it somewhere in here. I'll see it, but after everyone else has. I'm not in a mood to fight crowds. I want to check out the Wallace and Gromit movie. Anyone seen that one? And Zorro!!

YES! I'm a huge Potter fan! Myself and BigDaddy are taking our kids to see it tonight, I can't wait! I'm sure all the showings will have rather large crowds, perhaps even sold out showings, but that's part of going during the opening day or the weekend for that matter. I really enjoyed the first 2 movies, the third kinda disapointed me, I guess I was just expecting more....hopefully this one is better! Let us know what you thought after watching it if you get a chance.

Speaking of sold out, i didnt catch it in IMAX becacuse the WHOLE weekend is sold out so i went to regular movie. The movie is about 2 1/2 hours long and they did keep up with the book to a point, they did leave some stuff out (not very important) and at the end was kinda rushed. Overall i liked this movie more than the other ones. It gave me goose bumps watching it.
I will be going to see it with a friend 2morrow (instead of family) and i REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLYYYY wanna go to see it in IMAX. So i i play my cards right i'll be very happy.

I saw it Saturday...so far the best HP movie so far was the first one (for me anyway) seeing as it was the closest one to the books so far. But they're good anyway. I got there an hour and a half early, went to the arcade for 15 min and came back to see a long line...so depressing, but I good seats anyway so I was happy

It didn't seem very complete to me...as if they left something out, dunno what though. I read the book a while ago so I don't remember the exact details on it.

Aha the long line ur talking about couldnt be as bad as the one i had to wait in. It went around the movie theater about twice than out to where u buy the tickets.. It moved pretty fast. But when a friend and i got up front along with the other people we were talking to online they told us that their was another line we had to wait in and we all flipped out so had to back onto a line than wait 10 minutes till go into the theater and once the guy checked out tickets their was a line to get into see it. The place was so packed they asked people to move in and make room and that it wasnt fair if they used two seats (one for their stuff) so that took another 10 minutes so our 3:30 show we oringally went to see was sold out. Lucky Barnes and Noble was thier so we went their till 4. And then we went onto that line and through all that stuff and the movie started at 5. It was pretty bad but everyone behaved themselves.. (including me)

Cha Chi took me out for a steak dinner and then we went and saw harry potter 2 on friday. We bought the tickets friday afternoon so they wouldnt be sold out. It was a kick butt movie I think but after 2 .5 hrs of sitting in the theatre I was happy when it ended. WHAT my butt was sore okay Movie got a 9.5/10

ps not to mention my kid got a sitter so we were able to whatever without bagage, sort of speak.
