SOOOO COOOL!! Poisonmushroom and I just went to see DOOM and it rocked!! I recommend that if you have played any of the DOOM games that you go see the movie. It has some similarities and some differences but it is still so cool! Partly creepy but mostly action, it can't be beat! One more thing... fans of the BFG 9000...YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED!

Its not the best horror action movie, but if you a DOOM fan it rocks.
So if you dont like DOOM dont see the movie you will not like it, but if your a fan you should defenitly go see it, even if its only for the BFG.

It's no Schindler's List, but it delivers the violence and action the fans were looking for, and it was the only reason why me and my group of friends went to see it. The plot and acting may be a bit weak (hey, its Doom, what do you expect? Shakespeare?), but quite frankly, that's just window dressing for the mindless carnage, which it delivers in spades. Anyone who complains about the poor acting and plot should be compared to the person at the Thanksgiving table who complains about the ugliness of the green veggies the big turkey sits on; they're in the theatre for the wrong reason

yes, the acting the weak, but when you think about it, is there really a correct way to act when your killing or getting eaten by a monster?

one of the things i would i have added to the movie was somthing getting a shot to the chest from the BFG or many monsters taking it right on since the ball of plasma could probably consume more than one baddy.

Also i would like to say that the FPS part in the movie rocked. It was just like i was playing the game, only that when i ran around the corner and saw the monster i would normally scream, jump, and fire the shotgun off 4 times with my eyes closed, than open my eyes and find that im dead and that i havent landed a shot. then i would go change my pants and try again. it was one vicious cycle i must say

I wish they would do a DUKE NUKEM movie. It's an old one, but everything I see today stems from somthing like that game.

If at first you don't friccasee, fry, fry a hen.

They've tried several times, but every time someone asks when it will be finished, they hire a writer to pen out the words "When It's Done", and the script vaporizes.

Parallel worlds do exist: we just happen to be in the one that got the "Nice first try" award.

For me, the movie version of Doom is simply a rehash of Cameron's Aliens, substituting the Xenomorphs for the various creatures that inhabit the video game.

I sat there patiently waiting for Dwayne... umm... sorry, The Rock, to shout "Game over, man! Game over..."

"I've come here to kick some butt and chew some bubblegum... right now, I'm all outta bubblegum..."
