I would like to know if the great Druids RPG mod will be made to work with other versions of popular mutators such as Satore. I run three Invasion servers who all have slightly different combinations of mutators but one common one is SatoreMonsterPack version 116. Firstly I would like to point out a flaw in Satore from 118 and 120 is that any map that uses terrain will be prone to having monsters "falling" through the terrain so stopping waves from being completed. I decided to test on my private server and I reverted from using RPG2.1, Druids169, SUDvasion, Benelli and MP5and Satorev120 to the same except Satore which I used 116 and immediately the monsters stopped falling through the terrain. But, it somehow has created a new problem which I am pointing at Druids169 and that revolves around "pets" and MonsterSummon. I have a rather strange problem whereas players who have already bought MonsterSummon find that they spawn at the start with their "pet" sitting on their heads and unable to move.

I know it will be so easy for people to say "remove MonsterSummon" but unfortunately I have to keep hundreds of players happy and no doubt removal will upset many. It will have to be done if there is to be no workround.

On a second note Satore will not be releasing any further releases of his MonsterPack, in an email to me he has said and I quote from that email;

I can't update because I lost MonsterPack resource.

A terrible shame so could future releases of Druids take into consideration whilst testing more versions of Satore.

I don't know how sympathetic Druid will be on this issue. Since Druid doesn't use oversized monsters on his server he has no reason to worry about it. I think also he mentioned that monsters spawning on top of players is something he can't really fix.

Also, I don't see how satore can lose the resources for his mutator. All anyone has to do is run the batchexport command on the mutator and you would have all the source code for it immediately. As long as you have the finished .u file then you have access to any source code inside.

I think he just doesnt want to work on it anymore.

Sorry, when I first read this, I thought it was a Satore problem.

We had this same exact problem with Titans on our server. When they're summoned as pets, sometimes they spawn right on top of your head and crush the owner.

My suggestion is to turn off the summoning of Titans, Queens, and Giant Gasbags. This is how DC runs, and we summon pets just fine.

If the problem is a result of oversized pets... I'm not quite sure what to tell ya.

I would highly reccomend that you post it over on Mysterial's UT2004RPG website. DruidsRPG doesn't actually create the pets, nor does it spawn them. That's all done in the RPG core.

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.
