I'm looking into buying an ipod and It's free engraving up to 26 letters on the back. I can't decide what to put on it, whether it be a short quote or a intriguing word like Tranquility or in dutch it's Kalmte... so I'm asking for some suggestions of words or quotes that are thought provoking... so far I have,
Cellar Door (have to watch donnie darko)
Disastrous Consequences (had to)
Tranquility/kalmte
I know this is odd , but I really want something unique and the language it's in doesn't matter because some words sound better that way... anyways any suggestions would be great!

Antidisestablishmentarianism is too long but real unique.

Coup de gras is French for The Fatal Blow or some such.

Que la gustaria beber de Cerveza is Imperial Spanish for "Want a beer?" The spelling may be off a bit.

I know several Mandarin Chineese phrases that are cool, but never learned how to read or write it. For example "Don't worry, be happy" sounds like

May wan tee, beeyay dun shin

But it looks similar to a Picasso made from twigs when written.

Good luck in your search.

What about just the word "Intriguing..." ? People will wonder just what is so intriguing.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO what a ride!"

Not to spoil your fun, however, you might want to put an email address on it in case you ever loose it...

Beyond that I'd start looking up the word fun and music on wikipedia.org and see if it took me round to a fun word

The fundamental problem is this: The first word we learn as children is NO. From that point forward society teaches women that saying no isn't polite, and society teaches men to respect those who wont take no for an answer.

Well, one of my favorites has always been,

Watashi wa sakana desu

(I am a fish)

Maybe if I can get some sleep, I'll think up something better. I'm a big fan of the Nali Tested one so far. Or Namaste, if you want something that you won't get tired of reading.
