Ideas for new mall-themed map

How about Unreal Tournament: The Motion Picture. >

One of the ideas I had for a fake was a James Bond film starring Brock, with Lauren, Domina and... Makreth as his love interests on the poster. From Arborea... With Love. James Bond's 149'th Adventure.

But classic posters will work just as well.

The credits idea is brilliant and actually fairly easy to make, just a text panner and then some grainy fx over it (I could use the stock effect.)

However, I wasn't going to make an interior for the theater though, just a facade.

Well, many map designers leave their mark somewhere in the map, it seemed appropriate. Better than the bathroom.

But anything you mentioned would work as well. We could leave the "credits" on a marble slab with bronze plaque...

Have the James bond thing made up like Charlies Angels....all posed in a group..

well the credits could be like the frag list counter on some maps or a preview screen of the movie instead of poster with credits after

looks nice! but i was thinking of the leader board display for credit display at the theater area it was a suggestion on how to do the credit thing for making the map

How is this coming? I haven't heard anything about it in a while now! Then again I haven't even played in a while haha. I need to do that. IM HAVING WITHDRAWLS! =P

i was thinking bout adding hidden ion tank and the map can have monster advantages like a safe room oh and a xp pickup can be handy and adren pills that give 20 30 40 seen them and the modified udamage make it like mm server make it a revolution for dc

im guessing you could actually have some closed shops with a banner saying closed due to monster probs e.t.c and dump 3 brutes in there to make it look more real

Trauma, I haven't worked on it for a couple of months. I'll probably start on it again sooner or later.

Fallen, I'm not a fan of Monster Mash's gameplay. I know this map would work on there, but I'm designing it for standard dm and inv gameplay. No safe rooms. No insane pickups, though there will be a couple of 25 and 50 adren pills on the map.

After I release this map, if the MM people or someone else wants to alter it for their server, I'm fine with that. As long as they don't make it look like crap.

Lastly, I know about those posters in Stalwart, and what they do they have to do with anything in this thread?

I wondered about the progress about the map. Maybe you will get another burst of inspiration. I got one a week ago and started designing artwork and website for the antique bottle club we are members of.
