Halloween?!

Well i saw this costume while lookin for something i can be for halloween this year. I was ganna be Beetlejuice but they just put up a rule that this year no face make-up or masks is allowed. We also have a 9:30 curfew (sp?) Anyways! I saw this and Dirty Deeds just poped into my mind and i had to share it with you all!

That's a good one!! I don't know what I would be this year. I have to think about that one first.

Nice DD costume! Well, last year I built my son a coffin and strapped it to a fridge mover, then added some sounds (screems, doors opening and slamming, etc...) and a few other acouterments and pushed him around town scaring the heck out of people when he'd pop out at them. Here's a few pics.

This year I'm taking a wheel chair and making it into a rolling electric chair I think. Some sound, zzzzzzz..pffft etc.., and a plasma bulb strapped to the leather cap on my melon so it lights up when he "shocks" me. It's gonna be great, for the adult portion of the evening I'm gonna have some blood blisters under my tonge and maybe a few blister packs under my eyes, (we'll see where the monitary situation is) so my head kinda pops when there's been enough juice applied.

(You can prob. tell, Holloween is my favorite holiday, it's the only time I can express my more base urges and eccentricities while not being arrested or sent to the "ward",

Wait wait wait...who is they? And who does this rule effect? If this is a Utah rule, I'm going to scream. No makeup or masks? DUH!!!

My best costume up to date is Cousin Itt. I wore it my senior year of high school and we had a costume contest for the people who were part of the yearbook staff. I just walked into the class and sat down. Didn't say a word and didn't sit where I usually do. I made people guess who I was. I won the costume contest (a couple movie tickets *shrug* not bad I don't think) My grandma made the costume out of yarn...Kudos to her!! It was my best Halloween.

ya.....so it turns out im the most gulable person alive..and my brother (the oldest of 3 of my bros) is a really good liar. So there is no rule of no make-up and masks...im just dumb like that. grr...he loves im so gulable.

EM! you ROCK!! I LOVE halloween!!! Its my fav.!!! I havent been able to do anything extream as that but last year i was Sally stiches from Nightmare Before Christmas! I went to the DI And got a cool dress which i ripped to shreds to fit the part, got shoes, make-up, everything! I think i might have a pick of it here somewhere...ill look! But ya we should all do a halloween together sometime!!

That's fantastic Eme. My uncle has a farm and we put on a big haunted house every year. The coolest part is the strobe mirror maze. I don't get dressed up for Halloween anymore, but it is my favorite Holiday and Season.

Dressing up is fun when you mix it up with social satire. Last year I handed out packets of sugarfee Trident when dressed as a dentist from hell, complete with screaming victim missing half its jaw and strapped on the dentists chair. I was thinking of handing out apples, but that would just be too cruel (even though I probably scared enough kids into dental care enough to not warrant complaints).

I'm thinking of scaring the adults this year and going as a Communist boogeyman. Complete with Castro's cigar in one hand, Mao's red book in the other, Che Guevara's beret, Stalin's mustache, a monocle, a military uniform, and some zombie makeup on top. I'll be spouting fake Communist slogans when handing candy to the commoners, and if I sell my act well enough I might even have a few old hardline Republicans chase me around the block with pitchforks and holy water

I don't dress up anymore, but me and my friends got together a couple years ago and instead of handing out candy, we gave out raisens on toothpicks

It went over better than we though because people kept coming back for more

no, dont do that.. the tooth picks are by far plenty..
That and i personally cant have cherrios because i umm choke on them all the time.. AHA

A few years back, I had some fun playing with the kiddie's minds (and a few of the adult's as well, hehe!)

I put on my SCA heavy armour, popped on my helm, and grabbed a **real** greatsword to hand out cany on beggars nite. I then proceeded to pull a Monty Python and go something like this...

HOLD! I am a knight who says "NI!" To gain some candy, you must answer my questions three.... What is your favorite color? What should you do before you eat any of your candy? What is the air speed of a swallow?

The kids generally handled the color part OK, about 50% remembered to have Mom & Dad check their candy, but the looks on their faces of puzzlement on the last one.

But believe it or not, I actually got one parent who replied "African or European?"

This year is going to be interesting... Avis is not going to Trick or Treat, but instead wants to hand out candy. And for the first time in many, MANY years, Halloween and Beggars Night are on the same night (years ago, ultra-conservatives tried to kill it, but the compromise was to change the night). What to do, what to do this year...

Too bad I cannot come up with the Armour and deemer, flak or RL from UT!
