I usually don't give props to action/suspense movies because usually they are done poorly nowadays (sorry to people who love them), but if your into a good flick check out "Hostage", recently released on DVD. Starring Bruce Willis as a county sheriff trying to help some people out. That is as much as I was say on that, I hate when people let out too much adn ruin the movie. Also a tip for all DVD watchers, stop reading the back of the box. It usually lets out too much info also. CHECK IT OUT!!! I can't remember if it is a PG-13 or R rating. It may be border line R.

Ahh Batman.....wow.

Yeah boingo, gonna have to agree with you on this one. Fantastic movie in every way. And did you hear who is playing the joker in the next one? Luke Skywalker himself! Yeah, good 'ol Mark H. landed the role. I guess he's been doing the voice for the animated series for years and honestly, I think he has a freaky enough smile!

In any case, for those who haven't seen it yet, go see it. If you have seen it, let me know when you're comin to utah to see it again!

cheers.

Stephen: Yeah. It's mine.

Stephen: I've come to the right place then!

Cool, I had no idea they were remaking the first batman... but it's going to have to be really good to top Jack Nicholson, he played a great joker!

Yeah, Jack will forever be the Joker. He was just too perfect for that role. With any luck, Mark will pull it off!

Are they remaking the first Batman? I heard they were considering it, but really didn't want to. If Nolan wants to put his talents to good use, I think he should redo Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. Joel Schumacher.... Don't get me wrong, I loved Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey as the villans, but Val Kilmer was no Batman and Chris O'donnell...*snort*I just won't go there.

Michael Keaton was such a great Batman and Jack Nicholson was the best Joker. I can't imagine Mark Hamill as him; he'll always be Luke Skywalker to me. *bats eyes*

I feel very strongly about this, if you can't tell! I hope they don't remake the rest of the Batmans...I'm cheap and don't want to buy them all over again, but I know I won't be able to help myself!!

Yeah... I kind of hope they don't remake the batmans. The first few were good, but Batman Forever started the slow downfall of the movies. I honestly liked the batman movies better when he is solo. I'd rather have them just make another story that hasn't been told with another batman villain because batman begins was really good and as long as they stick to this method they could keep making more..... oh and yeah definately NO Chris O'donnell!!!

I loved it! sorry to dissagree with you! the werst one out of them all was the on with the penguin and Arnold S. in it. uhg...horrible show! But i actualy do hope they remake them all! See if they can pull of the impossable and make them better then before! they have an awesome start so far! But the best batman will always be, as said many times now, the original Batman Begins! Well, games and music were taken so I am asking about my own personal passion.

What are everyones favorites and just in general taste in movies?

My newest favorite digital anime is Appleseed... Thats of course where my character name is from. Cause she's hot, she fights like a man, and so do I.. (i try anyway)
other movies that i never get tired of:
Goonies, What dreams may come, Nightmare before christmas, Evita, Dark Crystal, Legend and Labirynth...
My general movie tase is fantasy (no, not that kind), The fantasy kind that make you ponder about life and there after or even before... The kind that you can get so deep into that you can't shake off the emotion that it brings out in you... :0)
Those are my favorite...

Those were actually two different movies. And the one with Arnold was awful, although I liked Mr. Freeze. It was Batman and Robin. And how could you not like Batman Returns?! And you call me your twin...psh. Just kidding, everyone has their own tastes.

And just for the record: Mark Hamill is only rumored to be the number one contender to play the Joker in the next movie. It's too soon to tell.

I dont really have a favorite movie. There are so many I love. Some of my favorites are...
Comedy-Caddyshack, Spaceballs, anything National Lampoon, Joe Dirt, Old School (the part where he shoots himself in the neck with the dart gun makes me laugh everytime.
Horror-Nightmare on Elm street, Event Horizon(really freaked me out), Original Texas Chainsaw, etc.
Suspense-Saw(awsome movie, keeps you guessing till the end), Seven, Secret window, etc.
Anime-Ghost in the Shell, Vampire Hunter D, anything DragonballZ(I know, I'm a dork but I cant help it)
Action-Lord of the Rings(all 3), Matrix(all 3), i-robot, anything with Jet Li, Bruce Lee, or Jackie Chan in it.

There are too many to list. Nothing better than a good movie.

Well I'm not saying this was a bad movie at all, but I really liked Batman Returns and the Original. I loved Tommie lee Jones and Jim Carrie in the movie, but once robin was introduced the movies kind of lost their way... Yes, Batman and Robin is the worst batman movie I should have said this brought the downfall because Batman Forever was good, but putting robin into the story led to bad things, (terrible terrible things) But now that their back on track I look forward to the new movies!!!

That's funny, because I was just watching Runaway Jury last night, and I loved it because one of the female characters in it fought like a woman, instead of how Hollywood usually portrays us (i.e. face slapping and other useless techniques).

..obviosly most of hollywood doesn't know the attributes of a real woman. I love a woman who can handle any situation with grace, witts and dignity without pulling each others hair out. This is why i love myself so much!
