Have you tried newegg.com and all the other places for info? If u have got to mysuperpc.com and email the guy that runs the site, he'd probably know about getting a agp slot on ur board if u even can.

You'd have to buy a completely new motherboard in order to get an AGP slot. Due to the different circuitry, power requirements etc, non-AGP fitted cannot be hooked with an AGP slot.

In the meantime, search around for a PCI graphics card using Google. You should be able to find one quite cheap. Don't get a PCI-E card - they won't work on your setup.

My main advice to you would be to save up and get yourself a new system. AGP is slwoly coming to the end of its lifespan, with PCI-Express taking over. However, the only motherboards which feature PCI-E capability and slots are the top end P4 and Athlon 64 CPU boards, so you might want to wait a little before the prices come down.

Yah, I agree with the two above. If you can, would be good to save up and get a new system. You have an older system or do you have a newer one that doesn't use AGP like a Dell, E-Machine, HP, etc.? If you have a newer one that just didn't come with an AGP slot, you can find pretty good PCI cards. I've been to http://www.zipzoomfly.com and as stated above, http://www.newegg.com is pretty good. There are other places. If you really want an expanded search for video cards, check out http://www.pricegrabber.com. You can do a search for the cheapest price on all kinds of stuff.

If you are looking for advice on specific video cards, then before going shopping at newegg, I would recommend reading up on differences between types of video cards. Nvidia is good and so is ATI, but it comes down to what you are looking for from the card.

well, depending on what your money issue is, there are some great deals at tigerdirect.com and newegg.com. (Im a tiger fan my self) you can get a decent mobo/cpu combo for $150-$250, but you have to get ram, cards, etc... but you might be able to salvage stuff from your other machine to off set the cost. as to a video card, i have a geforce fx5700le 256mb mem, agp- cost is now about $120 or so and it runs all of my stuff fine, even d3 and hl2. (have soyo dragon p4x400dap mobo, 512 ram, 2.0 ghz p4, soundblaster 5.1 sound)
in any case, there are deals out there, and there are many things you could do to your current machine to up it alittle with very little duckage, i suggest finding a friend or relitive that knows a little about the box and get their opinion and advice. Also, google some tech forums, there are alot of good ones out there, and most are very tolerent of "newbi's" and will help you out a lot..

i work next door to tiger direct in naperville il. so when i need something i can actually go there and save the shipping time. but with tiger direct there return policy is a little suspect. that being said i havent had any trouble with any of the product i have bought there.

good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun.

Yah, I think on those E-Machines, the video card is integrated into the mother board, but some are not. My dad has an E-Machine that is like that. The computer is fine, just doesn't run games all that well. If you don't have the money for a whole new system, you could get away with a new PCI vid card. Nvidia has some nice stuff and so does ATi.

Examples:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1071564&Sku=P56-5501&SRCCODE=PRICEGRABBER&CMP=OTC-PRICEGRABBER

Anyway, just take a look around
